The working includes the following tasks:
• Creates and maintains all databases required for development, testing, Education and production usage.
• Performs the capacity planning required to create and maintain the databases.
• Performs on going tuning of the database instances.
• Install new versions of the Oracle Database and its tools and any other tools that access the Oracle database.
• Troubleshoots with problems regarding the databases, applications and development tools.
• Administers all database objects, including tables, clusters, indexes, views, sequences, packages and procedures.
• Implementation of data models and database designs
• Creating and improving SQL queries, stored procedures, views and database models
• Analyzing and optimization databases and queries
• Monitor and optimize system performance using index tuning, disk optimization, and other method.
• Install, configure, troubleshoot, and maintain a database system.
• Code testing during and after the development of Oracle forms and reports in development and testing environments.
• Proficient in writing code to create stored procedures, functions, packages, and triggers .
• Technical expertise in developing/supporting forms and reports for Oracle EBS such as Payroll system.
• Good experience in Oracle SQL, PL/SQL. Knowledge of procedures, functions, packages, cursors, database normalization, indexing methods, constraints, and object usage.
