- Establishing and acquire new client relationships within the UAE business.
- Assist the compliance senior management in the ongoing review and approval of account opening documentation.
- Generate AUM growth and revenue streams that will ensure delivery of the financial plan and achievement of the business objectives through effective client acquisition, cross sell of wealth management and investment/ insurance products.
- To conduct sanctions screening and carry out investigations and update blacklisted accounts.
- Review of account opening documents, conducting world checks and internet searches and compiling background information for review and final decision making.
- Maintain a database for all high risk accounts opened and to report compliance issues and recommend changes or enhancements to improve efficiencies in procedures.
- Draft policies and procedures and follow up with the relationship managers on documentation issues.
Position involves working directly under the Financial Director.
- Implement and oversee credit control including business analysis.
- Report to management on variances from the established budget, and the reasons for those variances.
- Assist management in the formulation of its overall strategic direction.
- Compile key business metrics and report on them to management.
- Engage in benchmarking studies to establish areas of potential operational improvement. Interpret the company's financial results to management and recommend improvement activities.
- Furthermore, keeping a constant check on account set up in regards to exports, discounts, EC, etc. Posting & allocating payments (Cheques/BACS/Credit Cards etc.) and subsequently preparing banking.
- Querying differences & dealing with customer accounts enquiries.
- Chasing overdue payments by telephone/letter/email and henceforth determining customer’s terms to trade.
- Dealing with solicitors/trade debt insurers.
- Additionally, it is required that the reporting of ‘sales’ statistics is readily available (weekly/monthly/annually).
- Checking, posting and filing purchase invoices. Analysing costs/data.
- Dealing with purchase ledger enquiries. Preparing payments. Bank reconciliations. VAT returns preparation.
- Funds Management.
- Control and establish effective relationships in order to optimise company analytics.
- Develop and optimize database capability for the UK STF (Soil Treatment Facility).
- Liaise with all laboratories and advance communication with digital reports and CRM.
- Plan, review and analyse treatment (eg: lab results and site parameters) in order to maintain optimal treatment conditions.
- Interpret and generate monthly treatment progress, environmental monitoring and final validation reports.
- Report available treatment capacity for the soil inputs and communicate regularly with STF Project Coordinator. Control, optimise and maintain Water Treatment Systems.
- Quality control and financial validation of client invoices in accordance with policies and other procedures of company and hence forth provide reports on daily/weekly basis.
