Take full responsibility for service alarm monitoring and alarm management for all network services, first level fault restoration and configuration management of the network within the scope of work delegated by work area responsible Shift Leader/ Incident Manager.
First Level service quality surveillance and alarm handling.
First Level service problem restoration.
Preventive service maintenance.
Executing system configuration changes as per given right.
Trouble Ticket Handling.
Work Order Handling.
Change Request handling.
Report Handling.
Configuration management of network elements and assigned nodes
System back up of nodes.
Resolution to subscriber complaints and root cause analysis.
Coordinating with the interfaces for the Implementation of new products and testing.
Monitoring of Airtel Network by analyzing alarms coming from BSCs, MSCs, HLRs, Media Gateway using Ericsson Operation Support System (OSS), WinFiol, etc…
Performing daily, weekly and monthly check up of Radio and Core Nodes,
Management of Customers’s Complaints
Implementation of New GSM sites’s parameters into the Base Station Controller (BSC
Creation and configuration of new routes on the Mobile Switching Center (MSC) between Airtel Burkina and its local partners like Onatel Burkina, Telmob, Telecel Burkina and its international partners like Airtel India, Airtel Niger, Airtel Ghana, and Cote d’Ivoire Telecom.
