Reporting, Analysis & ROFO
 Monthly financial reporting of Maersk supply service to bring out the actual vs ROFO vs budget. Explanations/reasons for the spikes.
 Monthly preparation of the Operation Key Figures report - depicting some details such as the vessels status, performance, contract days, lay-up status, revenue and so on.
 Monthly preparation of the vessels KPIs - Customer satisfaction, fuel efficiency, adherence to supply chain, speed test, safety and health and incidence free operation.
 Monthly operational costs analysis and reporting.
 Coordinating with the onshore colleagues for the preparation of the ROFO.
 Weekly analysis of the spot contracts and fleet utilization and thereby recommending business partners.

Key achievements:
 Developed the competitors’ benchmarking model to capture the performances of our peer group and thereby explaining the various drivers behind good or bad performances of our competitors.
 Developed a model to capture the synthetic EBITDA-margin of MSS. Having a fleet composition similar to our competitors how would our EBITDA-margin look like.
 Worked on the deep dive analysis of the competitor securing the best in the class performance and thereby able to explain the gap between them and MSS.
 Developed the impairment model to facilitate the decisions on the impairment loss bookings for MSS.
 Developed a model around the fleet utilization for spot contracts and thereby helping to assess how efficiently the fleets are being utilized.

Senior Analyst (2009 -2011)

Trading North America (Canada) -Successfully managed the migration and was entrusted the role of a senior analyst.
Key achievements:
 Automated the site profitability reporting for 1060 sites by working on correcting the data quality issues in the systems and getting the report substantially automated which helped in saving 3 working days in a month and enhanced data accuracy and fit for purpose commentaries.
 Identified the loopholes in the lease contracts and executed the corrective measures to bring about a significant bottom line impact for Retail B2C business.
 Built a model around the lubes profitability and scenario analysis which helped in identifying the product mix that should be focused on developing a topline growth.
 Been part of the team which helped in simplifying and fully automating the invoicing process for Shell energy trading
