• Initiate quality achievement and performance improvement throughout the Project.
• Manage the development and implementation of the QMS for planning, inspection, documentation, and operations activities.
• Manage and oversee project quality to ensure compliance to codes, standards, regulations, equipment specifications, and QMS requirements.
• Implement, maintain and verify quality system at job site as per company quality procedure and project quality plan.
• Plan duties within the QA/QC staff and related work schedules, identify and develop QA/QC personnel certification requirements and continuing education/training needs; and provide leadership, mentorship, and direction to all QA/QC personnel.
• Take full responsibility for hold-point releases once all QMS functions have been completed and the equipment is ready to go into the next work stage.
• Prepare Quality Management & Inspection Testing Plan as per project requirments.
• Prepare submittals and manage same through the approval process.
• Coordinates with Client / Consultant’s representatives for any site instructions and inspection of works.
• Perform Route cause analysis for NCR and Site instructions and take the necessary steps to close by coordinating with site team and consultant.
• Identify and develop solutions to correct inspection function deficiencies.
• Develop quality control reports, post construction reports and detailed progress reporting.
• Assure that all materials, workmanship and construction are in full compliance with the contract plans and specifications, and all applicable codes.
• Perform inspections as needed. Prepare and maintain inspection and performance records daily.
• Inspection of fabrication, installation and commissioning activities for electro-mechanical works.
• Inspection of subcontract works - factory acceptance tests, etc.
• Third party certification of equipments / machinery related to job site.
• Review and compilation of inspection documents for final documentation.
• Analyses all possible construction methodologies and recommends the best options to the Project Manager for approval prior to execution at site.
• Interprets construction drawings and studies the contract documents and applicable standards or specifications prior to execution of any jobs.
• Performs other related duties as may be required by the Project Manager.
• Prepare QA/QC inspection activities as per Standards.
• Conducts works inspection as per standards & Project specifications.
• Material receiving inspection of various materials for civil works.
• Review of materials/equipment test certificates submitted by vendor/suppliers
• Generally responsible for implementations and monitoring of all electrical related works at site.
• Incoming material inspection, review of certification documents and prepare inspection reports.
• Witness & conduct testing.
• Assign targets for accomplishments and ensure targets are met on daily basis for all electrical groups at site.
• Directly responsible for the safety of all electrical groups’ personnel of the project by ensuring that the project execution will be done according to all applicable health, safety, sanitary and environmental standards.
• Performs other related duties as may be required by the Project Manager.
