I was required to handle the purchasing orders with our suppliers and
also to make sure that the ordered inventory was allocated in a proper
manner. The production was not completely handled from our end but
however we kept in touch with our internal departments to ensure a
smooth production.
I was given the task of negotiating with the buyers, suppliers and internal
departments while managing and planning the orders from start to
finish, of raw materials and other necessary items related. The
communication with the customers, new and existing is handled from my
end as they will be proposing new inquiries frequently as well as
requesting updates and details on current orders.
I was given the responsibility of coordinating with our production and every department
to ensure a better output daily by maintaining the efficiency at higher levels, by planning
and allocating the resources of the production while dealing and finding solutions to the
issues found on a daily basis for the brand, Nike. Apart from my daily tasks I prepared
and presented presentations, graphs and analysis information regarding the production
at meetings.
