• Provide technical support to Public Health Engineering project activities as part of an integrated Water, Sanitation and Hygiene (WASH) program.
• Participate in assessments of existing WASH facilities in selected project areas, provide technical recommendations for repair or rehabilitation works and develop BOQs.
• Monitor work done, quality, and ensure the project stays within assigned schedule.
• Monitoring of infrastructure construction works -the water network and waste water in Za’atari
• Participate in the creation and review of work plans and progress against targets.
• Developing a proposal for a construction technique to be used in the camp then turned to a project plan (Design, BoQ, Budget, work plans, & Time schedule)
.
• Produce technical assessment as well as BoQs for all building projects.
• Monitor accuracy of technical assessments against NRC project criteria including accuracy of measurements and BoQs. Assume responsibility by checking and signing all BOQs.
• Ensure and promote efficient and cost-effective use of NRC’s assets and resources in order to maximize funding to beneficiaries.
• Coordinate daily with Planning Team Leader and other Planning Assistants.
• Provide technical assistance to other NRC staff working on project proposals as required.
• Responsible for following up of construction activities for urban host construction projects.
• Updating relevant spreadsheets and databases for tracking and monitoring construction activities.
• Collecting and analyzing information, and modifying engineering techniques, resolving design integration issues.
• Responsible for managing project costs.
• Inspecting and evaluating projects.
• Working on a number of construction projects simultaneously.
• Steel Reinforcement Detailing and Shop Drawings
• Quantity Surveying.
