• Greeting the guests warmly with a genuine smile and eye contact.
• Assist them to assigned dining area and present menus.
• Maintain communication with guests while they wait for their table.
• Ensure complete cleanliness of the hostess area.
• Answer incoming calls to the restaurant and provide appropriate service.
• Reservation bookkeeper, ensuring organized and accurate records of customers.
• Supervise dining reservation system ( SevenRooms ).
• Oversee guests seating and table assignments.
• Maintain diplomacy while relating with guests.
• Plan private dining room events or celebrations, set up birthday parties.
• Handle customer complaints and try my best to reach a satisfactory solution.
• Strive for customer satisfaction by meeting all personal and special requests of guests.
• Attend the briefings and management meetings.
• Assist with the roster system and regularly updates it.
• Organize, schedule and direct the hostess team.
• Training new members of hostess team.
• Motivate and serve as a role model for hostesses.
• Thanking guests upon departure and inviting them to come back.
