Produces correspondence, manuscripts, notes, summaries, meeting minutes and other material from a variety of sources
•Develops and maintains departmental files, documents, data files and confidential information
•Answers incoming telephone calls and refers to appropriate personnel for proper handling
•Gathers and summarizes data for projects, studies and reports
•Monitors accounts and budgets and researches policies and procedures
•Responds to requests for information concerning office and organizational procedures, programs and other activities/functions
•Coordinates special functions and/or programs as assigned, including special studies, surveys, publications, etc.
•Serves as a liaison between departments and others within and/or external to CCAD

Perform and manage all the activities within the Executive Director’s office including office management, implementation of procedures, process management, records management and diary management

A general overview of the process is as follow,

Faculty works with Program Admin Assistants (PAA) in preparing all hiring/extension documents and compiling the same.
PAA work with HR directly on getting the necessary security clearance approvals for new hires.
PAA works with Office of the Dean of Engineering in getting the offer issued.
Faculty and PAA send out approved Offer and on receiving acceptance PAA coordinate with HR for the onboarding and contracts.
