Project: MSHEIREB Downtown Doha- Phase 1C. Msheireb Downtown Doha is a planned city in Doha, Qatar. Located in the downtown area of Qatar's capital city, it is set to occupy 310, 000 sq. m with the total cost of construction amounting to approximately $5.5 billion. Duties & Responsibilities:
• Supervising Electrical jobs based on shop drawings and specification
• Coordinating and supervising of the installation works of Electrical activities and operations
• Prepare Method Statements
• Liaise with consultant and subcontractors
• Prepare weekly and monthly progress reports and assess them against the project schedule
• Ensure the availability of adequate quantity of electrical material
• Provide input to Quantity Surveyor for interim payment applications
• Quantity take off and Placing order for Materials
• Mock up unit Preparation and execution
• Getting approval of shop drawings and submittals from the consultant
• Cable size calculation, cable scheduling & its route selection, over head or underground
• Site issues highlighting and send to consultant
• Conduct safety tool box lecture to enforce safety regulations for individuals on the site
• Raise inspection requests for work completed
• Ensure work is executed according to contract specifications, approved design drawings, agreed procedures, and method statements
• Implement strict adherence to safety rules and regulations
• Reduce the wastage of material and increase manpower productivity
• Interact with client and consultant regarding the status of work
• Complete necessary quality assurance documentation of work under direct control
• Update drawings to fit newly approved modifications for As-Built drawings
• Check all installations in preliminary stage
• Ensure construction works are performed in accordance with project, work schedule and specifications in expected quality and on time
• Follow up on materials received from the site and from companies
• Check man-hour values in comparison to construction works regularly
• Check about defects or incomplete works in the site which are reported by the Client, take preventive or corrective actions against potential issues
• Submit daily reports to Construction Manager
• Follow applications in the project and in the site, check on materials, manpower, warehouse materials and safety in the site, ensure taking necessary precautions
• Coordination with workers
• Manpower Controlling and solve the Problem
• Mentoring site Engineer's and Junior Engineer's on site
• Review of Contract Agreement
