Project: Development of the new headquarters of the holding company (Midcot)
Key project elements included the construction of new units; restoration and re-division of old buildings; setting up workshops for turning and blacksmithing; setting up an exhibition of equipment and agricultural machinery; creation of outside parking; gables;
building of an auto repair shop; and landscaping.
Responsibilities included: • Site supervision
• Hiring of subcontractors and tracking of project deliverables
• Implementation of purchase orders
• Preparation of weekly disbursements for workers and subcontractors
Project: Advanced cotton gins
Key project elements included the development of sophisticated gins near cotton farms in the states of Al Gazeera and Al Gadarif in Sudan.
Responsibilities included: • Coordination with site managers to calculate the quantities of construction
materials needed
• Submission of periodic reports every three months on the progress of civil works at the three sites including monitoring the proportion of work completed and remaining.
