•Create a detailed list for pipes, fittings, and cables needed for the entire project, aligning with approved shop drawings. Coordinate with suppliers and contractors to conduct pre-inspections of materials, followed by joint inspections with contractors and consultants on-site for approval.
•Deploy mechanical and electrical teams to initiate site installations based on shop drawings. Identify and highlight any changes in pipe routing or device installation, preparing hydraulic calculations and As-built documentation accordingly.
•Request inspections of mechanical and electrical works with the consultant, including pressure tests for piping and conductivity tests for cables, followed by testing and commissioning. Conduct room integrity and foam conductivity tests in collaboration with the consultant, generating QCDD and testing & commissioning reports.
• Participate in QCDD inspections with contractors, consultants, and QCDD inspectors to verify the sequence of operations, tests, and related matters.
•Generate weekly progress reports, project cash flow updates, manpower lists, additional material requests, tools requirements, handing over certificates, follow-up on deliveries, and payment certificates for ongoing projects.
•Prioritize safety by obtaining necessary work permits and safety data sheets before commencing work, ensuring a secure work environment.
• Organize tools and materials for the task, obtaining approval from the area authority and gas tester for a specific block.
• Keep a record of daily work progress and contribute to planning for anticipated transfers. Conduct site observations, coordinating with main contractors to prevent clashes or reworks. Collaborate with sub- contractors for inspection approvals and archive inspection requests.
•Provide technical support to the Maintenance, Quality, and Safety department. Participate in various Shutdown projects, including those for Dolphin Energy in Ras Laffan and Qatar Gas in Ras Laffan.
