• Develop demand forecasts (operational forecasts) at multiple levels of aggregation for multiple time horizons as part of a demand planning function.
• Replenishment & inventory management function for Distribution Centers.
• Planning forecasting and replenishment of imports items for the Distribution Centers
• Maintaining acceptable level of inventory turns, service level and margin gain.
• Review historical sales trends, research demand drivers, prepare forecast data, develop statistical forecast models, and evaluate forecast results
• Provide input to the Supply Planning organization in developing inventory strategies on existing items, new products, and product phase-outs.
• Executing a forecast against a 52 weeks rolling cycle.
• Streamlines shipping and transportation processes
• Facilitate the shipping of products from origin to destination
• Continually reviews freight costs, transportation rates, and/or the prices of raw materials to keep costs down where possible
• Check shipments when they arrive to ensure that orders have been filled correctly and that goods meet specifications
• Planning & monitoring the warehouse, delivery & dispatch of orders
• Preparing exports documents.
• Compare prices, specifications, and delivery dates to determine the best bid among potential suppliers
