After resigning from IPS in 03/2013 and going back to Egypt I was looking for developing my technical skills in the Oracle field, so I consulted Oracle Egypt - Education Consultant (Mr. Mohammed Ellawah mohammed.) for the future of the DBA career, He consulted internally the oracle EMEA- Career Consultant (Mrs. Houda Soliman Hoda.) who advised to go for the engineered Systems certificates As it is badly required by Oracle itself.

I was interviewed by oracle for the EMEA- Senior support engineer post by Eng. Mervat El Saeed and I passed all the technical tests and My papers was sent to oracle HQ for processing ( a process of 2 months as per Eng. Mervat).
As the Oracle job is requiring continues travelling and as I am a family man, I am trying to find another opportunity where I can stay in one place most of the time.

After returning back from Riyadh Dry Port Project to IPS I was promissed with a promotion Active from 01/01/2013 and As we were going for a new Terminal Operating System along with the day today activities described before I was doing the following infrastructure activities:-
-->Planning the extention and expantion of the SLA with oracle in
-Software (SOLARIS, Database, BI, Gateway, Weblogic, and Mobile Server).
-Hardware Budgeting for the new Sun T4-2 Servers and Sun Storage 2530-M2 Arrays and new RACs for main and failover sites.
- Following up with Procurement and suppliers and giving the IT answers to suppliers.

-->Implementing the SMS Gateway for the operational messaging.

-->Planning the required Training for all IT staff for the technical utilities that is required for the new TOS implementation.

-->Co-ordinating with Banks for the new implementation of the Payment Process.

-installation of Solaris UNIX and configuring the v890, v440 sun servers (security, network, zfs storage).
-upgrading the operational database from 9ir2 to the 11gr2.
-Administrating the Oracle support contract accounts for database, unix, linux and the Sun Hardware Support Account with Sun and ACS.
-Administrating the Redhat Support Account.
-Administration of the Win 2000 Server of the Sparcs and Radio servers.
-Administration of Win 2003 Server, Apache Server, Tomcat Server of the Navis Web Access.
-Maintaining the ISO quality requirements
-administrate the(operational, test, archiving, standby)databases -Implementing The Navis Express Billing Module.
-Administration tasks for the(Navis Sparcs, Express, Web Access)servers. -End user support.
-Design and implement the backup/restore plans for the operations related servers/appliances.

-Coordination between the Navis support Team and the other Parties for upgrade tasks, required resources, and down time.
-I am the first contact person in IT for after office hours cases reported by operation dept. I am figuring out the problem and direct solving (using VPN connection) if related to an operation related server or forward to the system administrator or the data security administrator in case of other servers/PCs/Network issues.
- A yearly basis project(s) is assigned to me, I am Planing and implementing and testing and in case of other users involvement I am also offering the training to them.
