• Assisted Project Manager upon execution of scope of work, design review as per the contract and NTDC’s requirement, deliverables, schedules and risk identification.
• Supervised (AIS-Siemens; 33kV/132kV Grid Station) the complete project cycle from initiation to closeout; planning, design, construction, testing, commissioning, energization phases by ensuring QA/QC & HSE including project timelines.
• Participated in all site meetings and did value addition where as required to improve the quality and expediting the works to meet the project timelines.
• Liaising among all project stakeholders as per project needs.
• Preparation of weekly, monthly reports for the submission to lenders and sponsors.
• Visits different project sites did root cause analysis and provide remedial solutions.
• Ensured QA/QC during execution of all site activities (installation and testing of 132 kV AIS-Siemens, 22 kV VCB Switchgear, Power Trafoz, GSUs, RMUs, power collection system, SVC-MCR, Aux System, buildings small power and lighting, Fire control and Protection System, CCTV etc.) by implementing, approved design, IFC drawings, Project specifications and OEMs recommendations by QA /QC norms.
• Preparation of quality procedure, inspections and test plan checklist and documentation.
• Prepare Site Quality Inspection Plans, Protocols and Method of Statements.
• Report daily to the Site Manager / Project Manager on QA/QC matters and keep the project Manager informed of any problems or potential problems.
• Conduct final service acceptance inspections, punch list close out, and transition of project to (O&M) Operations and Maintenance.
• Prepare dossiers, in order to fulfilling the contractual obligations to get Taking Over Certificate (TOC), Provisional Acceptance Certificate (PAC), Warranty Period Expiry Certificate (WPEC) and FAC.
• Reviewed work procedures and method statements for compliance, conduct the Internal QMS Audits.
• Coordinate, schedule building and area inspections for solar installation projects.
• Monitor work of contractors subcontractors to make sure projects conform to plans, specifications, schedules and budgets.
• Provide technical assistance to installers, technicians, other solar professionals regarding solar electrical systems, and mechanical systems.
• Visit customer sites to define solar system needs, requirements and specifications.
• Estimate materials, equipment, and personnel needed for residential and commercial solar installation projects.
• Evaluate subcontractors or subcontractor bids for quality, cost, and reliability.
• Assisted Project Manager upon execution of Project Management Plan which includes scope of work, deliverables, schedules, risk identification, design review and specific requirements of client and relevant government authorities (NTDC).
• Manage and supervise of Engineering review, installation, commissioning, testing and operation of Electrical Balance of Plant (EBOP) equipment (132 kV GIS-ABB, 22 kV GIS Switchgear, Power Trafoz, GSUs, RMUs, power collection system, SVC-MCR, Aux System, small power and lighting, CCTV, fire alarm and Protection system etc.).
• Manage and supervise civil infrastructure where equipments needs to be installed. Further manage the activities regarding the installation of Wind Turbine (Nordex, Siemens Gamesa) Generators (erection, insides panels and other accessories installation and commissioning).
• Manage and supervise site facility buildings including control building regarding Electrical & Civil aspects.
• Hands-on experience of supervising contractors, OEMs and subcontractors to ensure all the site activities by following approved designs, project specifications as per the contract.
• Manage and deal multiple project stakeholders (EPC contractor, subcontractors, Owner / Lenders, national grid operator, CPPA, Owner Engineer, Independent Engineer) in parallel to managing day-to-day project needs.
• Representing the company during customers/lenders visit when required for bid clarifications etc.
• Understanding of EPC contract, energy purchase agreement (EPA), workflow under the EPA and consents obtaining from purchaser.
• Project control and monitoring with the reference to the given time-lines / schedule and ensured the completion accordingly.
• Supported Proposal department for price optimization and prepare the proposal Risk Register after visiting project site.
• Support Supply Chain department technically to procure the required items to fulfill project requirement.
• Understanding of IFC performance standards, risk assessment, ensure the HSE compliance during performing the activities (construction, operation & maintenance).
• Lead the Project Closeout (Close all Punch Lists, HandOver Lists and Defect-and-Deficiency).
• Ensure the smooth running and availability of 132 kV Power Plants/Grids.
• Develop, monitor and update the Risk Register on monthly basis.
• Ensured the completion of EPC Project Close-out as within O&M budget.
• Ensured the availability of plant as per the Contract.
• Ensured the acknowledgement of all Grid tripping/outage from NPCC.
• Monitored the plant Power Curve on monthly basics.
• Reviewed Electrical Maintenance Procedures and suggests where those can be improved.
• Monitored and supported the response to all emergency breakdowns to ensure plant availability, thereby minimizing downtime and possibility of liquidity damages.
• Managed a framework for the warranty returns, customer concerns and the Operation problem solving/root cause analysis.
• Liaison with contractor/OEMs for timely resolving the operation/warranty issues.
• Monitored electrical preventive and corrective maintenance and overhauling work activities to ensure safe and efficient application of procedures and implementation of optimal electrical maintenance.
• Sourced and arranged the local subcontractor for all works related small power and lighting maintenance and other auxiliaries.
