• Responsible for securing new customers and maintaining and developing existing accounts.
• Meet and exceed target set in terms of contributing and generating revenue for the department.
• Maintain records of customer details / sales visits.
• Identify potential customers and register opportunities in Orient relentlessly pursue realization of such opportunities leading to revenue for the company.
• Regularly visit existing accounts validating our service levels and develop new revenue streams.
• Negotiate with the accounts as per price guidelines given, looking to maximize profits.
• Support Customer Service and work closely with Operations and Documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.
• Promote the services and products of all entities, and coordinate sales efforts with other department sales.
• Assimilate market information and take part in the overall business development through weekly / monthly sales meetings.
• Follow up with clients for outstanding supported by the Finance Controller.
• Working closely with customers, colleagues and third parties to ensure smooth operations to deadlines.
• Liaising with third parties to move goods (by Road, Rail, Air or Sea) in accordance with customer requirements.
• Identify potential customers, establish contacts, formulate & implement suitable ground level sales strategies to sell Logistics services/products at the required profit margin.
• Maintain good relationship with existing customers in order to secure repeat orders.
• Duly complete all customer related formalities required by the company (such as quotations, order confirmations, contracts, and credit agreements) in a timely manner, leaving no room for financial disputes.
• Gather market intelligence covering new trends, booming industries, competitor rates & activities to effectively approach the market.
• Take good care of and be accountable for all assets provided by the company for efficient execution of job duties.
-Visiting a minimum of 10 customers every week.
-Planning every Journey to see a customer carefully to arrive on time.
-Asking customers for referrals.
-Updating the company database with customer information.
-Contacting prospective customers via mailshots, emails and telephone calls.

-Dealing with all incoming customers inquires.
-Conduct and report minimum number of sales leads set by the management and transform a minimum of those into revenue generating business.

-Support customer service and work closely with operations and documentation on the execution of customer service contracts.

-Support the accounting department on the A/R. -Fluency in English and Arabic.
