Operate and implement the TriplePlay devices/ customers
• Configure and test triple play devices according to the setup design.
• Support engineering, support, operations & commercial to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction.
• Provide troubleshooting, analysis & problem solution for critical situations. remotely or on-site if needed.
• Follow-up & prepare the Triple Play network planned activities to ensure fault free operation during different activity phases.
• 3rd line support On Call for network emergencies reported by second line support to fix critical problems.
• Participate in designing required customer networks solutions.
• Track industry changes and technologies.
• Propose new ideas and technologies to direct manager to meet customer’s needs.
• Ensure all customer requests are done within the agreed service level agreement.
• Manage escalations related to operational issues.
• Fine tune the nodes to achieve smooth & high quality performance.
• Provide recommendations on alternative technical options.
• Assess the need for vendors support intervention & follow-up with them regarding any relevant on site network issues.
• Provide technical support to relevant teams, to improve potential technical capabilities.
• Report network problems in time with clear information to management for proper decision making.
• Report performance against agreed plans & KPIs.
• Participate in acceptance & testing of new nodes, systems, features & services.
• Implement software & hardware system upgrades and hardware system expansions.
• Transfer the Know How to other team members to enhance the technical knowledge.
Experience:
• Excellent knowledge of IPTV Solutions Design & Delivery
• Experience in Cisco (Scientific Atalnta - SA), Ericsson headend
• Experience in Anevia Headend (DVB to IP - Flamingo 660 S-T-C-E-H)
• IPTV Middleware of Minerva xTVFusion single tier and two tier implementation and administration
• Experience in Nevotek IPTV middleware
• Experience in Amino STB -AmiNET110, A110H, A125, A130H, Entone, WNC
• Responsible for the development of IPTV services and integration with MICROS-Fidelio property management system (PMS)
• Responsible for development of hotel info channel (URL channel and video channel)
• Knowledge of video and audio compression algorithms (MPEG-2, MPEG-4 H.264, AVC, etc).
• Knowledge of Smart Home technology
