Responsible for the following tasks:-
− Provides leadership in the development for the continuous evaluation of short and long-term strategic financial objectives.
− Assess the new projects feasibility study
− Ensure credibility of Finance group by providing timely and accurate analysis of budgets, financial trends and forecasts.
− Take hands-on lead position of developing, implementing, and maintaining a comprehensive job cost system.
− Maintain the company tax efficiency
− Direct all aspects of the Finance & Accounting functions of the organization.
− Evaluates and advises on the impact of long range planning, introduction of new programs/ strategies and regulatory action.
− Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior executives so as to identify their needs and seek full range of business solutions.
− Provide executive management with advice on the financial implications of business activities.
− Manage processes for financial forecasting, budgets and consolidation and reporting to the Company
− Provide recommendations to strategically enhance financial performance and business opportunities.
− Ensure that effective internal controls are in place
− Ensure the cash inflow is meeting the company requirement and maintain he collection efficiency
Responsible for all the financial data for my company and all the daily operation activities and communication with other departments as following :-
Oversee the smooth and efficient running of the Finance Dept.
Ensure compliance with statutory authority and audit requirements.
Maintain integrity of Accounting system (software), ensuring it remains effective and operational at all times.
Ensure all taxation and legislative requirements are complied with at all times.
On a monthly basis conduct balance sheet reconciliation for review by Directors.
Update “chart of accounts” monthly to reflect account management activities.
Update and keep current “Job Costing Statistics” for all jobs.
Provide assistance and direction to the Burton family entities regarding financial matters.
Ensure the monthly reconciliation of all ledgers and sub-ledgers.
Analyze business performance / results, providing feedback to Senior Management.
Track and monitor revenue for accuracy, verifying it against sub ledger report on a monthly basis.
Ensure monthly accruals are adjusted to meet demands of the business.
On a monthly basis monitor and track debtors to ensure they are consistent with contract conditions.

Co-ordinate and prepare annual budgets, including operating and capital expenditure budgets.
Ensure the accurate preparation / reporting of monthly financial results in strict accordance with Company deadlines.
Ensure job costing is completed and reported by end of month to Directors.
Where required, provide assistance / direction to managers with regards to the preparation of budgets.
Ensure any variations to budgets and forecasts are explained in management reports, including any future / potential exposures to the organization.
Ensure that end of year statutory accounts report is finalized by specified date and presented to Directors for review.
-Managing accounting team.
-Reviewing accounting transactions to ensure compliance with accounting policies.
-Managing company cash flow and treasury.
-Reviewing the monthly bank reconciliations.
-Timely submissions to tax authorities & Tax inspection requirements.
-Managing and planning the work flow related to closing and reporting.
-Reviewing the monthly financial analysis
-Reviewing the Inter-company transaction between all legal entities
-Discussing with the external Auditors the quarter audit plan and work flow process, approving the review of the financials prepared by the Auditors.
-Responsible for presenting financial results to management on monthly basis.
-Complete Budget and reporting requirements for both shareholders separately
-Full responsibility for the Monthly reporting for the shareholders each separately
-Periodic budget reviews.
-Monthly variance analysis reports for the actual vs. budgeted figures.
Managing AP accountants.
Auditing & approving all entries for the company
Managing monthly cut-off closing plan.
Reconciling inter/intra company accounts.
Participating in budgeting preparation.
Following up on tax treatments and its payments.
Prepare financial statements to LAFARGE-FRANCE on Hyperion reporting tool.
Communicating with internal & external auditors.
Responsible to implement and complying G/L for the group companies with (SOX) internal control Procedures.
Following up on accruals, provisions, prepaid expenses and control its movements during the month.
Coordinating with plants concerning to monthly closing process.
Controlling and reviewing the payment terms of suppliers
Preparing GL journal entries
Preparing comparisons for items of financial statement
Preparing Bank reconciliations
Codes expenses, inputs invoices into computerized accounting system, prepares invoices for payment, and prepares cheques. Distributes checks for signatures.
Reconciling Suppliers payments with bank Cheques.
Preparing Creditors Statements.
Preparing aging Creditors Balances.
Preparing monthly payment forecast.
