• Examining and analyzing accounting records to determine financial status of establishment and preparing financial reports.
• Supervising, directing and reviewing the work of accounting (including but not limited to cash and bank reconciliations, receivable and payable transactions, recording of revenues and expenditures).
• Managing budgets, forecasting and comparing with actual results together with reasoning of variances.

• Controlling contract maturity dates (Insurance, post-dated checks, rent agreements etc.).
• Maintaining fixed assets register and recording depreciation/amortization of fixed assets & prepayments.
• Reviewing all invoices for accuracy and verify invoices against proof of services supplied.
• Preparing monthly and weekly and daily cash flow/fund flow statements for the planning purposes.
• Developing, implementing and evaluating internal control procedures to safeguard the company’s resources.
• Preparing in house financial statements for audit purposes.
• Preparing payroll, uploading salaries in WPS and ensuring accurate disbursement.
• Calculating end of service benefits (Gratuity) for payment to resigning, retiring and terminated employees.
• Calculating year end provision for end of service benefits (Gratuity) for existing employees and adjusting the provision for resigning, retiring and terminated employees.
• Reporting to Dubai Health Authority (DHA) on interval basis as per guidelines provided.
• Reporting to Insurance Authority on quarterly basis and comply with guidelines for license renewal on annual basis.
• Handling compliance issues with Federal Tax Authority (FTA).
• Computing and posting VAT with all entries of sales and purchase.
• Liaison with external auditor by providing all required schedules to get audit completed on time.
• Liaison with outsourced IT staff for implementation and development of customized needs in Praktora (insurance brokerage software).
