Led the architect of the digital transformation initiatives such as cloud and mobility
Key Activities:
• Led the establishment of enterprise Architecture (EA) capability within QF IT and the development and deployment of architecture processes and artifacts to allow QF to respond faster to change and help achieve alignment between business and IT strategies
• Directed all aspects of technology budgets, investments, acquisitions, and roadmaps while maintaining current knowledge of technology trends and latest developments.
• Steered the workplace collaboration digital transformation through the deployment of O365 suite (Email, Teams, One drive, online SharePoint) with the associated solutions such as Backup and Email Signature.
• Spearheaded the architecture design, planning, deployment and migration to Azure and Oracle cloud environments, including IaaS, PaaS, and SaaS, international connectivity, and cybersecurity relevant solutions and controls.
• led the procurement and RFPs development for more than 30 tenders evaluated for more than $200M and that includes major contracts such as Oracle Fusion, Managed Services, Azure Cloud, O365, Oracle Cloud, Network Refresh, Global Ethernet, CSOC, Internet and MPLS links.

Selected Accomplishments:
• Founded effectively the solution and architecture department; recruited, coached and oversaw a team of 20+ senior architectures and business analysts in the areas of applications, network (business and OT), security, cloud (Azure, Oracle, and 365), platform (storage and backup).
• decreased 70% of the network operations and acquisition costs by initiating and leading the business and OT network contract and roadmap to redesign and replace the 6000+ network estate.
• Improved the QF security posture of QF by the planning, prioritization and delivery of the information security program, which encompasses the deployment of more than 40 cybersecurity initiatives in 24months.
Led the strategy department to plan and manage the IT digital transformation including, Strategy, policies, information governance, technology roadmap, and services portfolio.

• Oversaw all facets of the Education Network program which combined the Global Ethernet international connectivity and Education City fiber network for USA branch universities.
• led the Design and deployment of the diverse IT infrastructure programs related to capital projects, including more than 10 state-of-art facilities in Education City as well as other IT Infrastructure Programs (100+ $M).
• managed the cybersecurity program deployment such as Cisco ASA, ISE, IPS, Symantec endpoint and encryption.

• Accomplished the successful delivery and transition of multiple, concurrent, multi-million IT infrastructure projects, such as HP Blades, SANs, Backup library, Cisco Network (Core, ASA, IPS, NAC, and Wireless), and HP UX.essions on passwords management and security practices
• delivered bottom-line functionality and reliability of DAE IT infrastructure, locally and globally in the US and Europe.
• Bridged communications with IT contractors and vendors across all DAE companies, resulting in over $500, 000 in savings related to the provisioning of infrastructure solutions.
• Instituted the PMO for the Oracle ERP (HR and Finance) program and developed processes and standards for effective management of the program.
• Finalized the program by achieving and delivering the business values of the HR and Finance modules within the established timeframe.

Managed the systems, network and security estates in Abu Dhabi region.
Key Achievement:
• Managed the planning, deployment, and support of the IT infrastructure in Dubai Banks’ branches in Abu Dhabi.
• Oversight the network, security, and systems support team to ensure the delivery of the service level to the business.
• Guided the installation, configuration, administration, and support of critical networks and systems, including HP servers, Cisco routers, switches and firewalls.
Managed the design, installation, of networks and security infrastructure for Emaar Group and Sahm customers in Abu Dhabi. Team up with the Business Development Director to establish Sahm presences in the Abu Dhabi market.
Key Achievements:
• Successfully managed and delivered multiple projects in IT infrastructure, passive and active networks for Sahm customers in Abu Dhabi.
• established and promoted business opportunities in Abu Dhabi by building a healthy relationship with some leading governmental organization and improving the networking base.
Played a key role in a key governmental initiative to automate the business processes of Emirates Post by deploying the latest network infrastructure, in-house applications, and Oracle ERP business solutions.
The main responsibilities were to design, install and configure LANs and WANs (cabling, switches and routers) in the head office as well as another 25 main branches and offices across UAE.
Key Achievements:
• Managed the implementation of the IT infrastructure (Cabling, Server rooms, Network, Systems, desktops, POSs, applications, ERP) in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain, for two main offices and 15 branches.
• led a support team of 4 members in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain to ensure the high quality onsite support fast resolutions of the daily incidents.
• led the IT projects and operations in Abu Dhabi and Al Ain with direct report to the CIO
