Job Description Comprehensive knowledge of telecom services providing from exchange building to the customer end both in telephone services (DEL), internet services (ADSL), and Triple Play (Phone, Internet and Smart TV) in case of Fibre Optic. Exchange Building Worked in OMC (Operations & Maintenance Centre) in which 16 exchanges are connected with each other via net manager providing voice, fax & data services to 400 thousand customers in the 07 districts, and my duty was to observe the alarms on 16 (diferent exchanges) system panels. Faults are of two types, hardware and software, I removed software faults by configure them and in case of hardware fault I went to store issue the required module and replace that module in the infected exchange. Worked in Switch Room in which my duty was to maintain the single exchange (EWSD Siemens). Provide subscriber administration like CLI, Call Waiting, Call Transfer, Code Baring, Block/Open Telephone services in case of non payment etc. Worked in MDF (Main Distribution Frame) in which I handle two exchanges at a time, performing jumper from Horizontal/Equipment/Exchange pair side to Vertical/E-side/MDF bar, both in case of DEL, ADSL, Data Circuits, GSM etc. Test pairs with field technicians and change them in case of fault. Customer End (GPON/Copper) Received SR (service order for new connection) and Docket (for working connection) from supervisor/controller both in case of GPON/Fibre and Copper/Legacy. In case GPON-FTTH Service Order, I collect the required store (Telephone set, ONT, STB/PVR, Router etc) from the exchange and take appointment from the costumer and provide them required services like Single play (telephone), Dual play (telephone + internet) or Triple play (telephone + internet + STB/PVR) and in case of Docket take appointment from customer and remove the fault (fast connector faulty, ONT faulty/reset, Router faulty/reset, fibre damage, patch cord faulty, problem on FDH etc). In case of Copper Service Order, I collect the required store and take appointment from the customer, went to concern cabinet make connection with exchange side pair to DP side pair and connect UG/Internal DP to the Customer end, and in case of Docket take appointment from the customer and trace the fault step by step from customer end to exchange end or exchange end to customer end, like check dial tone from the cabinet E-side pair, then D-side pair, then DP pair, Customer Cable/accessories etc.
