• Support the management in the definition and implementation of the organizational plan which identifies the human resource needs necessary to support the business in the medium to long-term range
• Ensure that the company remains structurally flexible and competitive in its policies and practices and capable of adapting to change in market/ industry trends and conditions.
• Empower managers to manage their teams and ensure that the necessary policies and procedures are in place in terms of recruitment and selection, performance management, training and professional development, talent and succession-planning.
• Implement and maintain competitive and incentive-driven/ variable compensation programs.
• Optimize cross-functional support and effective communication within the Company. Manage professional networks at all levels of the human resources organization and be proactive.
• Direct and manage all activities of the Human Resources team, ensuring that staff is qualified and competent, properly coached, given the opportunity to develop in the company and continually motivated to handle the demands of their jobs and achieve their objectives.
• Provide operational support and expertise on all personnel and HR management matters within the company, by ensuring total compliance to local legal requirements, ethical standards and best practices in order to support the business management and industrial operations management.
• Plan and control local expenditure, ensuring cost-efficiency at all times and particular focus on controllable expenses.
• Set up appropriate management control tools to monitor performance and identify areas of continual improvement and propose corrective actions where necessary in order to enhance a high-performance culture.
• Develop strategic and tactical plans for all HR functional areas of the company and ensure their implementation and review.
• Ensure HR compliance with the NSSF and tax regulations and keeps abreast of any changes in the labor laws and regulations that might have an impact on the HR policies and procedures.
• Review all hiring request and submit a recommendation to the Executive Partner Administration for their final approval.
• Update the specifications of the workman compensation Insurance policy.
• Lead all strategic initiatives for employee development instilling a culture of continuous learning and development among staff
• Represent the HR Department in management meetings, exposition, job fairs… as needed Perform other duties pertinent to this job as assigned or appropriate.
• Develop the Management Systems strategy and the management arrangements for key milestones, demonstrating solid progress against plan.
• Manage all external registration requirements to ensure they are met. Liaise with external bodies on all matters relating to registration. Maintain and improve, in line with business needs.
