HV Substations Project Management

-Review Project Technical Specification to understand the complete Scope of project.
-Develop Overall Time schedule to determine most effective means of accomplishing objectives and to conduct and coordinate all related activities.
-Finalizing Material Estimation & Major Equipment’s with Procurement Department in line with Quality assurance and Quality Control requirements
-Coordination for Base Design Submission/Approvals with Client’s Design Consultant.
-Monitoring progress / achievements and taking necessary measures to ensure timely contract completion & consumer satisfaction.
-Review Project status Report and modify the schedule as necessary.
-Maintain Close contact with Client in all project matters to keep project on track.
-Coordination for FAT Witness and Third Party inspection of Equipments involved.
-Site coordination for civil works & Delivery of Major Equipment’s.
-Installation of Electrical Equipments, especially 110kV GIS, MV Switchgears, Power Transformers, AC/DC System, Protection and Control System, SCADA & SAS and others .
-Pre commissioning checks and organization of Testing and Commissioning activities

220MV Combined cycle power plant & 220KV Substation.

The Power Plant Consists
• 4xLM6000PC, GE Gas Turbine capacity 48MW • Water Treatment Plant (Reverse Osmosis Type):50m3/h
• 1xSteam Turbine capacity 26MW. • 4xFuel Gas Compressors: Flow 26000Nm3
• 220KV Gas Insulated Substation(GIS) • Aux & Distribution transformers
• 115MVA Power Transformers • 1xHRSG Capacity 91tons/hr.

Responsibilities:

Supervised all project activities related to Installation, Testing and Commissioning within high quality standards and safety guidelines


• Reviewing various designs, drawings, processes, procedures and finalizing formats and control documents for all equipment involved.
• Installation & Commissioning of HV/LV Switchgears.
• Carrying out (SAT) Site Acceptance Tests on Transformers and Circuit Breakers.
• Commissioning of Station Earth Grid based on specifications and drawings.
• Installation, Testing, Commissioning of AC/DC system including Inverters (UPS).
• Testing of Numerical Protection relays (ABB, Siemens, GE, and Alstom), schemes & interlocking, and loop checking.
• Testing of all safety gear like fire alarm system, smoke detection system, firefighting equipments, Transformer deluge sprinkler / Surge protection system, SF6 gas leak detection system, and tools.


Fully Conversant with the operation of GE Gas turbine LM6000PC, Steam turbine & HRSG, Fuel Gas compressors, Water Treatment Plant (Reverse Osmosis Type)

220KV Gas Insulated Substations Interconnection Project.

• Involved in Commissioning, Testing & Loop checking of Numerical Protection Relays for interconnection of 220KV Substations of 1260MW BQPS-1 with 560MW CCPP BQPS-2.
