• Manage and control $40 M of Inventory to facilitate various projects across the MENAT region, (sites include Qatar, Saudi, Oman, Kuwait, UAE, Egypt, Algeria and Iraq) by implementing materials replenishment planning strategies based on Operational & Strategic Forecasting, Demand Plan.
• Established, managed and drive accuracy of regional inventory and assets demand forecast for on-going and potential activities, linking to the regional business financial forecast - both short and long term.
• Developed the inventory management strategy with the aim of controlling costs within budgetary limits/Operating plan, generating savings, targeted reduction of overstocks and removal of obsolete/redundant materials (In 2012 reduced $2.5 M Obsolete stock), rationalizing inventory and maximizing available working capital.
• Manage regional inventory level of raw, semi-finished and finished goods on FIFO basis to achieve optimum inventory level and better result.
• Manage and monitor the activities assigned to personnel involved in Inventory planning. Includes, analyze and recommend SPIR parts that are compatible for the intended use.
• Maintain stock levels and provide essential support to the operational material requirements of the company in a cost-effective manner.
• Set up Min/Max stock level to improve efficiency, Inventory turnover, to avoid stock-out, improve delivery time for on-time demand fulfillment.
• Ensure that Stock items are replenished timely & efficiently.
• Plan & coordinate with end users to review Slow Moving and Non-Moving inventory items and eliminate dead stock, Inventory deep-dive analyses results prepare reports and make recommendation as to the final disposition of these items.
• Prepare detailed analysis of on-hand inventory, Inventory performance, KPI (Key Performance Indicator) reports and report it on monthly, quarterly and annual basis.
• Manage and provide metrics of inventory and stock performance by customers, projects, consignment stock, services inventory to support management and operational decisions.
• Implement and manage inventory control measures to ensure reduction of stock and accurate record of inventory movement, remote inventory assessment updated on the ERP system on timely manner.
• Directs and implements departmental policies and procedures to include: proper methods of issuing and receiving materials, Warehouse Management, handling of rejected materials, accuracy of computer entries, and reconciling material inventory variances.
• Recommends, coordinates, and assists in projects to improve: utilization of available warehouse space, material flow rationalization, Project work in process and purchased material, inventory accuracy and cycle-counting.
• Interface with cross-functional team like project, engineering, supply chain and operation managers to establish workflow including release dates, releasing order, dates, and cash flow management etc.
• Minimize inventory holding, logistics and resources costs for stocked materials (manpower, transport, order, warehouse storage, handling equipment’s and inventory costs).
• Ensure integrity and accuracy of the stock management system
• Manage control measures to ensure mistakes, inaccuracies and discrepancies are highlighted, addressed and resolved.
• Directs the movement of rejected parts from various projects location, rig sites to the material rejected area and processes appropriate paperwork for accounting systems.
• Lead the annual physical inventory count process, including assignment of employees participating in the inventory count, observers for accuracy of counts, monitoring of inventory control tickets for accuracy and accounting, reconcile material variances upon completion of inventory count, organize inventory auditing etc.

• Joined as an “Operation Supervisor - Inventory, Materials, Procurement & Supply Chain” led team (of 10 staffs directly reports to me) and managed complete Inventory, Purchase of direct and indirect Materials and Supply chain functions using advanced ERP SAP R/3 MM Module program.
• Managed end-to-end Import and Export shipments from regions (NAM, EUK, APA & MENAT) to serve the Middle East and Africa clients as per the company’s guidelines and policy to support offshore and onshore projects to the global clients.
