Private Equity Role & Responsibility
- Investment screening and evaluation of new business opportunities
- Conducting overall due-diligence on investments - Financial modeling, Valuation - DCF, comparable company analysis, industry analysis
- Leading deal team, report directly to Executive Director - Finance / Group CFO
- Management meetings and calls with CEO, CFO and Senior Company representatives
- Preparing investment memos for Owners (H.E.), investment committee presentations, quarterly investment tracker for Owners and internal monthly investment report tracker
- Work with Legal team to review and negotiate term sheets and investment agreements
- Identifying and liaising with technical and subject experts to conduct technical diligence
- Reviewing Board documents and advise our Director on the same before meetings
- Coordinating with Global Banks for Investment Banking and Corporate Banking needs
- Maintaining relationships with external executive management, PE Funds and financial advisors, and participate in outreach representing Omzest at conferences and seminars
- Monitor investments for further funding need, market entry opportunity and exit strategy
- Managing Post-IPO share transfer process of transferring shares held by the transfer agent to the custodian bank account
- Setting up and management of Bank accounts in Germany and Switzerland for SPEs

Corporate Finance Role & Responsibility
- Managing portfolio of companies in Manufacturing, Petrochemicals, Shipping, FMCG, Advertising, Automotive, and Trading Sector- Telecom and Office Automation business
- Analysis and review on company budget, monthly MIS, cash-flows, variance analysis, working capital requirements, agreements, quarterly & half-yearly budget tracking
- Representing shareholders as Executive Management Committee Member and IT Steering Committee Member for Oman’s largest Pipe manufacturing company
- Evaluating US$ 11M project for 100% capacity expansion for petrochemical Company
- Reviewed proposal leading to setup, execution, and commission of US$ 7M Pipe coatings facility in Oman
- Implementing turnaround, restructuring and stop loss strategy in portfolio companies
- Coordinator in offshore SPE setup, management and annual audit from Big 4 company
- Executed JV deal for in-house advertising portfolio with leading Global Agency

Investment Banking Associate - Technology, Media & Telecom Group

- Identifying and sourcing new business opportunities by analysing technology companies, building and managing client relationships, speaking and meeting with C-level executives on a regular basis

- Executed on all stages of deal analysis, led meetings with CEO/CFO, created and updated pitchbooks, financial model and valuation - DCF, comps and precedent transactions, identified potential buyers, provided industry research, developed analysis for multiple scenarios for $7M sale of a multicultural media company
- Led meetings with management team, created a 3yr performance based earnout and bonus model and presented to CEO, CFO and President, resulting in $2.5M sale of SEO/SEM Company
- Support soliciting new business opportunities by attending conferences, researching companies and speaking with entrepreneurs, help writing proposals, reviewing and identifying clients leading to a sell-side deal
- Independently published a quarterly research report, “Interactive Advertising Technology Sector Research Report” by examining and analysing trends, key players, external and internal factors affecting Interactive Advertising Tech sector

- Researched and screened potential equity investments which increased yearly portfolio margins by 4%
