• Leading Information Technology and Information Management activities of the various projects and interests of CPECC in the Gulf Region including UAE, Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq, Kazakhstan, Sudan, and China.
• Interfacing with CNPC (Mother Company) for developing procedures, systems and assets for present and future interests of the group in the region.
• Defining processes, systems, executing operations and securing communication infrastructure, establishing guidelines a for effective information technology management, setting long and short-term information management plans and budgets.
• Conceptualizing corporate IT and communication (ICT) infrastructure, engineering software(s) Data and Documentation as well as implementation, process definition, management, project trainings of document management systems.
• Achieving seamless business continuity and compliance framework by developing and implementing project control and risk management systems as well as driving IT Vendor/Contractor Interface Management to realize smooth run of operations.
• Creating in-house development, process definition, and implementation of Completions Management Systems.
• Introducing Asset and Maintenance Management Systems (Maximo/SAP) to define data requirement.
• Successful in innovating and delivering Engineering Systems and Data Warehouses (Hexagon / Aveva / Bentley, etc.), involving:
o Electronic Document Management Systems (Wrench, Aconex, Smartplant Foundation), Project Planning Systems (Primavera P6 / MS Project), Procurement, Material and Warehouse Management Systems (ERP), Piping Fabrication Management, Construction Progress Measurement and Optimization (Civil, Piping, E&I, Telecom), Workflow Management, Commissioning Management, Progress Measurement Systems, etc.
• Gathering data and updating Asset and Maintenance Management Systems through the process of Asset Integrity, Maintenance and Reliability Management, including HSEBCES:
o IT Data Center, Cloud Services, Networks, Communications Infrastructure planning, budgeting, vendor negotiations and management, implementation, and operational management for the region
• Contributing in tender bid assistance for information technology and information management function.
• Introducing shelf web-based high availability data intensive applications, analyzing the change impact as well as creating and implementing the change strategy with a structured methodology and conducting regular reviews with business/clients.
• Managing the complete business cycle including need assessment, preparing strategies and infrastructure roadmap, and delivering quality technical/business solutions, ensuring to achieve organizational business objectives.
• Controlling costs so they remain within budget and ensure all tasks entrusted to company employees and external contractors are completed within agreed time scales.

• Worked on UAE operations for Abu Dhabi Crude Oil Pipeline (ADCOP) Project, a USD 4 bn venture by International Petroleum Investment Company (IPIC), in the capacity of Systems & Handover Manager (Project Information Manager).
• Defined, implemented and managed detailed project final data and documentation handover requirements, procedures and mode of handover in conjunction with IPIC / ADCO / ILF as per EPC contractual requirements (IPIC/ILF/ADCO) throughout the execution of the project to delivery for operations.
• Produced As-Built Documentation Centers and Manage the entire As-Built Documentation Process (Red Line Mark Ups) for all sites of ADCOP.
• Optimized resources and improved performance to consistently meet the project deadlines while ensuring Completeness, Integrity and Quality of gathered data in compliance with the SLAs.
• Built a centralized ADCOP Asset Database with Unique Tag Numbers for reference by all departments in conjunction with Penspen (Design Engineering Contractor), CPECC-Engineering, CPECC-Procurement, Pre-Commissioning Team and ADCO
• Developed Software Systems in line with the Handover Requirements in compliance with EPC Contract / IPIC / ADCO, including:
o Pipeline Information and Completions Management;
Materials Management, Construction - Pipeline, Construction - Stations, Pre-Commissioning, Commissioning, Startup, Punch Management, and TPI Certificate Management.
o GIS;
o Progress and Action Tracking System.
• Planned and established IT Infrastructure for CPECC Main Office / Branch Office at Abu Dhabi and 9 Camps across the UAE with over 1000 direct users and > 1000 users from subcontractors and vendors, including:
o Servers (Windows Server 2003/2008/2012R2 / IIS / Apache / MS-SQL 2008 / MySQL / MS-Exchange 2007/2013);
o Communications (Leased Lines / ADSL Lines / VSAT / VPN);
o Desktops (Windows XP Professional / Vista / Windows 7);
o Networks (Cisco / Huawei / Nortel / Juniper / Fortigate Devices);
o Security (Netscreen OS / Forti OS / Symantec Enterprise Security);
