Heading the finance division of Gosaibi Foods Company; Operating at two levels; Strategic level, a business partner to the board driving/leading financial strategy supporting organizational growth as well as manage core operational tasks, issues and optimize the current system.
Strategic Planning: Providing strategic input, insights, and recommendations on business plans and strategic decisions, supporting their 100 outlet growth plan
Budgeting &Forecasting: Heading the budgetary process and forecasting resource requirements
Risk Management: Enhancing policies, procedures & internal controls to effectively manage internal risk while ensuring external market risks are identified and quantified with stress testing to assess impact
Systems: Implementing ERP MS Dynamics, POS LS Hospitality.
Implementing the manufacturing system for 2 central production kitchens of the business.
Directed Treasury Management: Managing cash resources efficiently by optimizing WC (inventory optimization, A/P, cost control, Cash)
Evaluating and approving financial viability of all business opportunities, capital investments, using various tools as suitable Payback, ROI, NPV, IRR.
Corporate Finance: Planning the investments and capital expenditure for the business and coordinate to obtain financing for both short&long term
Driving Efficiency: Evaluating current business and identifying possible efficiencies and cost savings to increase profits
Accounting and Financial Reporting: Ensure checks and balances are monitored and accurate IFRS compliant financial statements are produced
Tax/Zakat: Devising tax saving strategies, finalzing tax workings with Deloitte and DZIT
Develop/Enhance new policies, procedures, processes, working methods, analytic tools, standards or operational plans and deliver results with direct impact on the department and overall targets
People Managment: Team hiring, training, developing, motivating and delegating

Managed cluster with multiple business units, brands, and investments spread across the UK, Ireland, UAE, KUWAIT & QATAR. Managing a global team of 6 Finance Business Partners
1. Steup up entire finance function for subdivisions globally with sound internal controls, designing chart of accounts aligning to the consolidation requirement
2. In charge of financial and accounting systems of business units driving the checks and balances of the month-end closing process Ledger/Reconciliation to produce accurate accounting
3.Consolidation of financial statements for all business units.
4.Monthly, Quarterly & Annual preparation of Financial statements adhering to IFRS and group policies with commentaries
5.Investment/Feasibility Analysis - compiled investment appraisals and financial models to derive NPV, IRR, ROI, PAYBACK and Gearing structure for new investments/ventures/projects. This includes meeting and brainstorming with Divisional Managers and finally with MD.
5.Cashflows Managment; region-wise cash forecasting and liquidity management
