Roles and Responsibilities:
• Arrange employee induction for all personnel inclusive of subcontractors
• Carry out a scheduled site inspection daily, weekly, and monthly and reporting to construction manager for compliance
• Review the method statement and ensure that activity is performed as per the method statement.
• Ensure the PTW system is followed strictly for all the high-risk activities.
• Supervising all the safety personnel and assist them whenever they required assistance.
• Ensuring the monthly inspection of fire extinguisher, fall protection equipment’s & lifting gears by respective safety officer.
• Organize and provide special toolbox talks and in-house training to all the employees.
• Assist in investigation incidents, report all incidents and implementation necessary recommendation to avoid recurrence
• Preparing various safety reports and maintaining safety documents and records
• Conducting internal site Audits,
• Maintain all records of occupational injuries and illnesses.
• Preparing weekly and Monthly Reports.
• Conduct Emergency Evacuation Drill and monitoring the Contractor drill etc. Monitoring and advising Contractor Safety Training. Organizing Health & Safety Meeting with subcontractors and clients
• Arrange post-training programs & refreshing training programs to skilled workers by the third party such as Crane Operators, Riggers, and Scaffold erectors.
• Promote and implement good health, safety, and environmental practices throughout the project by meeting applicable legal requirements and relevant international standards.
• Ensure Waste Management Plan complying legal and other requirements.
