Execute and monitor the sea and land shipping activities with shipping lines and transport contractors within UAE, and shipping activities from UAE to Borouge Hubs and further from the Borouge Hubs to the final destinations. The activity may also be executed with specialized service providers representing Borouge. The activities are defined by KPI's covering the scope of services to meet customer expectations.
Review the assigned sea and land shipping networks and related contracts to offer the required services to the customers in line with the approved Supply Chain service level. This is done in close coordination with the Shipping Specialist/Hub Manager and other Supply Chain functions (Customer Services, Planning), Logistics Service Providers of the Hubs, Procurement function, and service providers and partners.
Role and Responsibilities:-
Review and manage the existing shipping and transport network and systems and develop new ones to improve efficiency.
Participate in establishing scope of contracts with the right service providers to handle shipping, and land transport from hubs to customers.
Initiates additions to existing services based on customer requirements, and business demands.
Coordinates with Supply Chain, Sales, Procurement and service providers in the respect of shipping issues and developments.
Develop and document performance monitoring of service providers and channels feedback to external and internal customers.
Develop and document performance monitoring of team and ensure checks and balances are in place for improvements.
Finalize and approve investigated Claims and complaints arising from customers on shipping and transport services.
Develop and direct working team.
Train personnel in designated field.
Transfer specialist and business related information and updates.
Respond to customer’s feedback and complaints regarding shipping and transportation.
Ensure timely provision of services to customer.
Establish right networking contacts to fulfil customer needs.
Communicate progress and status of claims and complaints, and related corrective action and settlement.
Work closely with related parties to ensure services are received on time and dispatched according to schedules.
Confer with superior to coordinate activities.
Participate in functional networks and develop positive relations with key stakeholders.
Role and Responsibilities:-

Propose additions to existing services based on customer requirements, and business demands.
Coordinate with Customer Services, Sales, Hub Operation, Procurement and service providers in the context of shipping issues.
Maintain documents and reports for performance monitoring of service providers and provide feedback to external and internal customers.
Participate in investigation and closing claims and complaints arising from customers on shipping and transport services.
RoRo vessel scheduling and LoLo vessel planning basis demand from plant.
Verification and correction of mismatch vendor and out of SAP invoices.
Coordination of Import Borealis pre-marketing cargo clearance.
Bulk Load shipment execution and documentation.
Maintain contract freight rates in SAP.
Enquire & negotiate the rates outside the contract for specific or new destinations or in case an additional vendor is required to cater existing route.
Arranging Air Freight shipments when required.
Monthly volume forecasting to shipping lines and transporters.
Focal point for contingency planning and execution.
Coordinate monthly meetings with Shipping Specialists at all Hubs.

Role and Responsibilities:-
International & Local Purchasing. Negotiating with suppliers.
Procurement coordination. Administer contracts, tender process and proposals.
Ensuring documentation requirements are communicated and adhered to.
Ensure that all sourcing activity is completed in line with company Policy and Process.
Manage the relationship with suppliers and ensure timely payment of invoices.
Provide process and procedures to cover all logistics and shipment requirement.
Flawless paperwork and documentation to insure no delays take place on customs clearance.
Paying Suppliers and issuing invoices.
Interface with project managers, planners, and end user agents to ensure delivery schedules are being met with regards to parts shipment.
