Currently I am working with King Saud University in Riyadh to rebuild the network based on the best practices, and to come up and implement the new visions related to our network department. The university network is considered one of the biggest networks in the Kingdome as it has more than 2000 switch and router, up to 40 branches all over the kingdom and more than 100, 000 student, faculty and employee working or studying. The following summarize my current duties:

- Installation and administration of many network systems including the network routers and switches, CiscoWorks LMS for network devices management, ACS for network devices access control, ACE for load balancing, and FWSM (Cisco Firewall), and Proxies (tested and evaluated ironport and bluecoat proxy)
- Installation and management of our NOC (Network operation center). Using Opmanager and Netflow analyzer
- Redesign and implement our Datacenter network infrastructure.
- Meeting with vendors and partners for evaluating and presenting new products and new IT solutions. I am responsible for the technical review and analysis.
- Troubleshooting many types of high level problems related to our LAN, Internet and WAN networks.
- Managed several passive and active installations projects in Campus and in new buildinTraining for our network engineers.

I have been accepted in Cisco’s NetVersity program as a Presale Systems Engineer with 20 other colleagues from different countries around the world. I was selected After a long process of assessment and interviews that was conducted to more than 500 candidates. The program was aiming to train us as system engineers, who can be ready for working with Cisco Company at the end of the program. For this purpose we have attended and completed the following training sessions and activities:

 I have attended all the synergy training courses for CCNA, CCDA, CCNP, SND (Securing Cisco Devices), SNPA (Securing Networks with PIX and ASA) courses for security and CIPT1 and Cvoice for voice
 Attended many presentations and lectures on Cisco products (including Switching and routing, security and voice devises). We were trained on Cisco products by experienced system engineers in Cisco
 We were introduced to the main competitors and their strategic advantages and how to compete.
 We have been trained on how to do presentations, deal with customers and work as a team (soft skills Training)
 I have done many presentations about products, network designs, proposals and technologies during the program
 Spent 1 month in the field with a system engineer as an associate. During that month I had the chance to work as a system engineer, meet the customers, do demos and propose designs
 The last 3 months I was dedicated only for studying for the CCIE switching and routing lab exam. Spent more than 500 hours on configuring many designs scenarios and solving many technical problems. Now I am a CCIE certified.
