Major Assignments during Job
• Commissioning and start up (which includes Bath Generation, Bath-up and Metal pouring)
• Cell Diagnosis.
• Anode Beam Raising.
• Metal Tapping.
• Anode Changing.
• Red Shell Survey.
Responsibilities:-
• Attend noisy pots, Measure Height of Bath and Metal, Current distribution of Anode, High temperature pots, High Fe etc.
• Ensure normal operation of plant and equipments.
• Report abnormalities to the superiors.
• Attend production meetings and safety meetings.
• Ensure clear and concise communications between control room operator, supervisors and other sections and follow the instructions
• Ensure good housekeeping..etc.
• Took regular samples of product for laboratory analysis and also irregular samples upon request. Reviewed test analysis of product samples and took the necessary actions to correct any abnormalities.
• Follow SOPs.
