i. OTS for Reliance India Ltd.
Propylene Recovery Unit at SEZ Jamnagar (India)
The complete dynamic simulation was done in UniSim Design & UniSim Operations. The project involved development of upstream units of a C3 Splitter and Heat Pump compressor.
It was an emulated OTS project. All the Foxboro DCS, Triconex ESD were translated using toolkits and other PLCs logics were emulated in UniSim Design.

ii. OTS for Reliance India Ltd.
FCCU at SEZ Jamnagar (India)
Modeling of critical sections like Power Recovery Train (PRT) and Waste Gas Compressor (WGC) with their CCC logics.

iii. OTS for Honeywell Automation India Ltd.
FCCU at PCK Refinery (Germany)
The complete dynamic simulation was done in UniSim Design & UniSim Operations. The project involved development of upstream units of Main Fractionator, WGC, Gas Concentration, LPG Merox and Propylene Recovery Unit.

iv. OTS for Honeywell Automation India Ltd.
Ethylene Cracker Unit (ECU) at Petrokemya (Saudi Arabia)
The complete dynamic simulation was done in UniSim Design & UniSim Operations. The project involved development of upstream units of Pyrolysis Fractionator, HC Separation Section, Compression section, Cold Box, Ethylene and Propylene Refrigeration cycles.

• Commissioning of Acid Gas removal unit, Glycol Dehydration unit, Naphtha HDS, Naphtha Catalytic Reforming & Topping unit.
• Review of the final issue of PID’s from point of view of commissioning and start-up, issuing of PID’s modification according with project standards and regulations.
• Red line mark-up for generating As-Built P&ID’s.
• Preparation of scope and the responsibilities for pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, pre-commissioning & commissioning plan.
• Working with Process Licensors and Vendors in commissioning of the systems and sub-systems.
• Managing catalyst loading and unloading activities.
• Starting, Operating and Monitoring Systems and sub-systems via DCS/PLC, Loop tuning of control valves and stabilizing the system to the normal operating conditions as per Vendor data.
• Develop punch item database by systems, checking for completion and close-out of punch items accordingly with client and company agreed standards.
• Assisting client in troubleshooting of problems arising in early production systems.
• Participation in process safety management, including HAZID and HAZOP studies and activities.

i. ONGC B193-A Well-Cum Process Platform (Offshore):
Contractor: Sime Darby Sdn. Bhd.
Client: ONGC Ltd.

B-193-A well-cum-Process platform having a separate bridge connected Living Quarter platform along with HP and LP flare structures, 5 well platforms and intra field submarine lines located in the Heera-Panna-Bassien field. First Indian Offshore platform with Acid Gas Disposal Unit and other systems like Fuel Gas System, Acid Gas Removal Unit, Produced Water Conditioning, HP &LP Separators, Water Injection System, Gas Dehydration Unit etc. This field is of marginal nature and has high H2S (in the range of 6000 to 24000 ppm) & moderate CO2 content.

ii. Myanma Petrochemical Enterprise Renovation (Refinery)
Contractor: Novatech Projects India (P) Ltd.
Client: Myanma Petrochemical Enterprises

Myanma Petrochemical Enterprises is located in Thanbayakan near Yangoon, Myanmar. MPE intended to renovate its Topping, Coking, Naphtha Reforming, Naphtha Hydro treating & Smoke point improvement units of this refinery and UPCEM was awarded commissioning works for this project. This project also includes steady state simulation of these facilities and their respective HAZOP/HAZID studies.

iii. Connectivity to IOCL Dadri metering skid at GAIL Dadri Terminal (HAZOP Study)
Contractor: VCS Quality Services Pvt. Ltd.
Client: GAIL India Ltd.

GAIL (India) Limited intends to provide pipeline connectivity for supply of total 10 MMSCMD Gas to IOCL Dadri’s, “Dadri Panipat gas pipeline” from up gradation facilities of existing VDPL & GREP network at Tie in point at Dadri. UPCEM was awarded HAZOP study project by Velosi.


iv. HRD Process Platform Project (Offshore)
Contractors: Technip KT India Ltd. & AFCONS Infrastructure Ltd.
Client: ONGC Ltd

HRD Process platform is extension to existing Heera complex. It has capacity to process 55000 BPD liquid and 3.2 MMSCMD gas. HRD platform has facilities like Cyclone Separator, 3Ph HP Separator, Process Gas Compressor and other process utilities.
