As Human Resources & Administration Manager my responsibility was to assist Director of Human Resources & Admin in leading and guiding an HR team.
I’m responsible to manage the day-to-day HR office duties related to the different functional areas such as employment relations, recruitment, ticketing and hotel booking. In addition to that headed a team of skilled Training professionals and assist in training from time-to-time.
To ensure the smooth workflow of the various HR & Administration functions while maintaining and providing the needed support to the operational departments.
Advise Department Heads on HR policies, legal requirements, staffing, while acting as an arbitrator where necessary.
Monitor and maintain an effective employment relations policy.
• Ensure overall efficiency and effectiveness of the Human Resources & Admin Department.
• Plan and deploy manpower according to operational objectives.
• Assist management with application of discipline according to company policies and procedures and local legal provisions.
• Motivating and reinforcing competencies of the colleagues of the hotel.
• Ensure strict adherence to company's Human Resources policies and procedures at all times.
• Assist Head of Department in managing colleagues learning and development for continuous growth and to meet individual abilities and aspirations.
• Manage work permit's application, payments, follow up and renewal.
• Implementation of annual management performance cycle in line with company’s guidelines.
• Control payroll and payroll related costs within the budgeted limits.
• Report regularly to management on Human Resources issues that necessitate attention.
• Handle complete government related processes i.e. renewal of trade license, employment visas, health medical.
• Management of E-file system for employees and upload documents to the files as necessary.
• Complete the Coding of employees E-files as per new coding system. Assist employees with forms request and procedures queries.
• Management & Super-vision of employee data to HR payroll system (Sage), ensuring, accuracy, and compliance with employee contractual terms and conditions.
• Respond effectively and in a time manner to queries received through email address.
• Manage and Super-vise backup for other Shared services team members.
• Manage ad-hock support to HR Shared services departments lead for various projects as required.
I join this institution as an operation officer and served there for 14 years. Actually I learnt a lot form the higher management while working in this company. I was promoted step by step and when I left this company, I was performing as Manager HR & Administration, however at managerial position mu performance was not more than 4 years in the institution. It was a golden period of life when I successful learnt, how to draft letters, how to create policies & procedures, how to manage investigations and how counsel when a dispute arises. I learnt a lot and implemented administrative and HR skill successfully
