Role
• Responsible for Distribution and merchandise planning for all categories over 150 stores across South Zone Retail Chain (Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh, Tamilnadu and Kerala) of Bata India Ltd.
• Merchandise Planning for all New Store opening in south retail chain.
• Responsible for getting 100+% business in all 140 stores by allocating the proper merchandise mix.
• Managing Sales and Profitability of stores by allocating appropriate merchandise to stores as per sales trend
• Responsible for Complete advance Planning and ordering of stock for seasonal business by forecasting the sale trend (Monsoon, School and other festival seasons)
• Keep a check on NOOS articles at regional level
• Store wise category analysing and distributing the right product mix to stores
• Store wise planning of seasonal articles, well in advance, for timely availability of stock in stores
• Review store stock and initiate inter-transfer to balance the stocks
• Distributing the correct merchandise mix based on clientele of stores
• Follow-up with the District Managers for all category sales & space optimising
• Identifies growth of categories and declining categories
• Trending of current week’s sales and sales history.
• Review the performance of NEW ARTICLES and ordering the quantity as per the demand.
• Reducing the accumulation of non-selling size in the entire south region size wise ordering plan as per the size wise selling scenario
• Weekly review of stock cover week in all stores,
• Weekly review the new article performance
• Initiation regroup advice for all Mall stores to keep fresh merchandise look
• Balancing of non-selling articles between store clusters
• Review of non performing stores
Replenishment & Warehouse operation
• Allocation of New articles to stores ( ASP, T.O, PAIRS)
• Replenishment of articles as per the sale.
• Scheduling route plan for retail distribution center for the dispatch of merchandise.
• Track and monitor dispatches as per initial allocation; ensure timely replenishment orders and execution by the retail distribution center
• Balancing the stock by keeping regular check at stock levels in Retail distribution center and initiating regrouping.
• Ensure correct levels of stock RDC to meet store demand
• Clearance of Age stock in RDC.
• Clearance of discount articles
• Follow-up and consignment tracking with vendor and production units
• Reviewing of physical stock and book stock
• Monitoring the adherence level for the daily dispatches.
• Coordinate with PPC, Production and Quality Dept for Material to Dispatch.
• On Time Dispatch DO Wise/PO Wise.
• Preparation of Delivery Challans.
• Dispatch of material as per PO schedule.
• Handling of Dispatch Team.
• Responsible for ensuring the efficient & timely deliveries of dispatch of finish goods and stocks Incoming/outgoing on floor.
• Dispatch planning of daily basis.
• Preparing Sales Invoice, Stock transfer invoices & Returnable & Non-Returnable Challans.
• Prepare Sales order and create Invoices through ERP.
• FG stock physically checks on daily basis.
• Maintain the Inventory of all types of Materials in FG
• Ensure for maintaining 100% FIFO for Finish Goods.
• Documents (invoice & challans) file after checking on daily basis.
• Planning of the Vehicle coming for loading and filling.
• Making Contract, Sales order, goods confirmation, Delivery, Shipment, and Making Vehicle Loading Inspection Report.
• Making Invoicing and dispatch through ERP.
• Making proper documentation of every record.
• Preparing dispatch report, reconciliation report and sales report on daily basis
• Maintain accurate raw material and supplier master data including planning parameters such as order quantities or lot sizes, lead times and safety stocks.
• Participates in daily/weekly planning meetings and represents material plans as appropriate
• Maintaining data entry, receiving, timely delivery of goods, shipment loading and transferring details into system.
• Ensuring 100% accuracy in maintenance of stock records.
• Receipt of incoming materials.
• Proper identification and traceability of material in stores
• Preparation of GRN of all types of materials.
• Material handling, its storage and preservation within self-life.
• Daily materials shortage report
• Issue of material shop floor & subcontractors for job work
• Monthly stock verification system v/s Physical Stock
• Daily Inventory report
• Facilitate material movement planning and scheduling.
• Prepare and update monthly logistics, schedule to assure deliveries to production locations.
• Assist in obtaining necessary transportation permits for shipments of materials / goods, as required facilitating timely movements via different modes of transport.
• Maintain records of the orders placed by the customers, their delivery for official & company use.
• Handling queries regarding shipment of materials from internal and external customers as needed.
• Review inventory position daily and weekly against outstanding orders and sales forecasts and take action to accelerate shipments to meet customer demands.
• Coordinate product delivery schedules with customers.
• Coordinate daily activity to track location and movement of inventory as well as shipments.
• Verify accuracy of physical inventory.
• Perform compliance audits and monthly entry audits in the work place.
• Manage the warehouse that may involve reporting the man power status in the warehouse and consumption report to the logistics managers.
• Planning and organizing the warehouse operations.
• Timely MIS relating to Logistics.
