• I worked closely with the head of the technical committee to identify the requirement for the reporting system, and then analyze the existing transactions processing system (Ultima Management System/Ultima Vending System) to identify the data sources and their relations.
• I proposed a system design to automate the retrieval and reporting of the sales data.
• After review and acceptance of the manager I developed the system, technical documentation and Users' Guide

I work in migration project to migrate a desktop application to a web application in small team environment.
It is relatively large project to build multi-tiered data driven web application. The main technologies used in the project are ASP.net 3.5 using C#.net, MS SQL Server 2008 and SSRS 2008. I have worked extensively with these technologies.
I work extensively with SQL Server 2008 and SSRS. I have designed, developed and configured user-defined functions, scalar functions and stored procedures to be linked through data access abstraction layer to Gridviews, or serve as data sets for reports.
I use BIDS VS 2008 to build reports to present several levels of data aggregations and summaries with multiple display options and contextual filters.
I work in developing web pages mostly data driven employing Listviews, gridviews and iSoft Webgird extensively. I also develop business logic classes and entities using appropriate design patterns, and data access classes using ADO.net, LINQ and web services. The programming is mainly in C#.net and Java script.
I carry out and participate in other tasks such as documentation of work, writing release notes and scripts, peer reviews of design and code, planning before development iterations, and retrospective afterward.

About Project
The aim of the project was to develop a reporting system for the Virtual Learning Environment (VLE) usage statistics, so the reports can be used (in addition to other data sources) for quantitative evaluation and planning for future. The project was sponsored by the Learning and Teaching Development Unit (LTDU) within University of Wales, Cardiff (UWIC).

• I have worked with curriculum developer and coordinator (both face-to-face and electronically) to identify system requirements and what information should appear on the reports and their presentation, clarify any ambiguities, and get their feedback on the prototypes before moving to the next stage.
• On the technical side, I analyzed a very complex database (backend database of Blackboard) to identify the data required for reports to be loaded in the new database. It was a complex process to map from highly normalized transactional database to de-normalized reporting database
