Main Responsibilities:
Visit project site frequently to supervise the ongoing construction activities. To ensure that the works are carried out safely and in-line with quality standards, in accordance to contract documents
Monitor, assess and report on Contractor and Sub Contractors HSE compliance with the project HSE requirements as per the Contract and HSE legislation / best practice
Review and comment of the Contractors HSE Plans. Advise the Contractor to update the site safety plan when necessary.
Issue Safety Enforcement Notices (SEN) as per applicable procedure
Review and comment on Contractors risk assessments and work method statements.
Develop and update HSE documents (the Safety File), e.g. HSE Plan, HSE specific site risk assessment, office risk assessment, office fire risk assessment, etc.
Prepare regular weekly, monthly and other reports as required on safety matters for issue to the Employer and Project Manager.
Implementation of all health, safety and environmental audits, surveillance audits and work with site team for resolution of non-conformance issues.
Strengthen company's existing EHS compliance operations by improving hazard
Monitored the Contractor’s compliance with Health, Safety, Security and Environmental (HSSE) legislation and Contractors HSE Plan and report and follow up any breaches.
Implemented significant ergonomic improvements resulting in ergonomic risk factor reduction.
Conduct exercises, scenario base drills & training of HSE staff. Maintain record of such drills providing recommendations for emergency response improvements.
On major issues, prior to issuing Safety Enforcement Notices - Prohibition Notice - seek advice from Health and Safety Manager.

Main Responsibilities:
Experienced in the use of permit to work system, hot work activities, gas testing, enclosed space work, safety monitoring of activities during plant shut down/startup & maintenance jobs.
Provided HSE reports/recommendation as required by the Client for any project specific issues.
Chair and co-ordinate weekly HSE meetings.
Assisted the PM/RE to prepare weekly Progress meeting HSE comments or documentation.
