As a MITS contract Project/Requirements Manager, my duties include
• Planning, directing, and controlling project implementations utilizing PMP and Agile/Scrum Methodologies.
• Current Project: Leading the development effort for the 2nd generation of the instant issuance payment cards program utilizing both EMV and MagStripe technologies while complying with PCI DSS regulations.
• Primarily responsible for the strategic implementation of new technology solutions and identifying new technologies to improve and enhance the organization's business goals.
• Responsible for having exposed the development team to the Agile practices that have become the norm during my time with the company
• Led the initiative to increase code quality and productivity through leadership and guidance in areas such as Test/Behavior Driven Development, and Agile Estimation and Planning
• Introduced the use of automated testing tools such as Selenium and QTP to reveal and document, as well as drive development of, behavior in a large legacy code base.
• Delivered working software every four weeks
As an IT Project Manager, I am maintaining business strategies by managing staff, researching and implementing strategic solutions. Responsibilities include:
o Coordinating internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of projects
o Ensuring that all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Acting as single point of contact between the Information Technology department and other business units within NASBA different units.
• Product Owner for two Agile Scrum Development Teams.
• Maintaining and prioritizing different products backlog for each business unit.

o Managing backlog risks and issues and providing appropriate issues escalation to the product owner.
• In my last project December 2011-June 2012, as Scrum Master, I was responsible of the collection, and elicitation of Product’s new functionalities requirement from various stakeholders including clients, and internal departments as well as coordinated and hosted several meetings to finalize the requirements list.
• As a QA lead, I am assigned as an on-development site coordinator acting as a liaison between Intergraph’s Stakeholders, development team, and QA team consisting of five QA Engineers.
• Achievements:
o Ammar was recognized for the outstanding contribution and for leading and managing the Engineering Team through the deployment of SmartPlant 3D V. 2013 Release.
o Ammar has also received a number of positive customer satisfaction surveys in his role as a Software Analyst while providing first and second line of support to Intergraph’s clients.
• Lead Test Engineer for multiple product lines in a fast-pace electronic manufacturing environment.
• Provided multi-level support to the test engineering department that included hardware, software and expertise to ensure the smooth transition and deployment of a high quality product, from production to shipping.
• Worked closely with the project manager and other project members to understand the requirements presented by the client, and developed the project plan and timelines for the deliverables requested.
• Identified process issues, and worked with the test engineering, production line personnel, and other project members, in understanding of root-cause, development of corrective action plans, and successful implementation of solutions for issues identified during test or debug to allow for a smooth production process, and high first pass yields that meet the client’s expectations.
• Regularly met with the client “SUN Microsystems” to agree on testing requirements and expectations for each production cycle.
Duties include:
- Developing Automated and manual test procedures and scripts in TCL, KSH, BASH, XML and Expect.
- Reviewing customer supplied documentation to determine proper revision, content, and consistency for the purpose of establishing test processes.
- Providing product design for test reviews to customers.
- Taking full test responsibilities for assigned products, and leading products through prototype, pilot and production builds.
- Reporting on status of NPI activities.
- Analyzing production line failures information to drive corrective action in manufacturing process.
