In my role at Qatar Museums, I fostered essential relationships with stakeholders and partners, significantly enhancing museum engagement and expanding our audience base through tailored engagement strategies that catered to the diverse needs of our community. I oversaw the development and implementation of various outreach projects and programs, ensuring they were in sync with the museum’s brand and objectives. As a leader of the marketing and education departments at Lusail Museum, I devised and executed promotional strategies to highlight museum offerings effectively. Furthermore, I introduced cost-effective systems to manage departmental expenditures prudently. My tenure was marked by the successful orchestration of the LM activation at Expo 2023 and the QM Sports Day, as well as the management of activation programs during the FIFA World Cup 2022 at the Olympic Museum, demonstrating my capability to deliver on high-stakes projects.
As a curator, I independently conceptualized, organized, and produced three successful exhibitions, overseeing every detail from the initial idea to the final visitor experience. My hands-on management ensured the efficient installation and dismantling of exhibition materials. I championed cross-cultural dialogue, bringing together independent artists from Qatar and the UK to forge a platform for cultural exchange and artistic discourse. My scholarly contributions included authoring research papers and developing original content for publications, labels, and interpretive materials, all while carefully managing budgets. With a creative eye and strategic mindset, I formulated and adapted exhibit concepts, contexts, and designs to capture the audience's interest and maintain relevance. Additionally, I crafted marketing copy for newsletters and assembled presentation materials that effectively heightened the visibility of our exhibitions.
