▪ Overseeing a wide range of technical administration functions required to support application systems installed on a multi-tiered (layers) approach and Operating System (Unix, Linux, DB, and VMware infrastructure).

Achievements:
▪ Managed more than 50 logical AIX 5L partitions serving SAP ERP with Oracle 10g and hacmp, Oracle RAC 10g with GPFS, WebSphere Application server, WebSphere MQ.
▪ Dealt with several tools like nmon to monitor all production servers' resources and rendered them on to graphs thus simplifying the monitor issues.
▪ Served as the AIX Network Installation Manager

Responsibilities:
▪ Performed service delivery and rendered consulting and support services for AIX/Linux, HMC/VIO, LPARs, GPFS, security, power systems.
▪ Applied and managed AIX Technical Level, Service Packs and machines firmware updates.
▪ Administration of AIX backup/restore processes in addition to performing automated monitoring and any tasks that were requested by the customer.
▪ Managed and scheduled the backup of AIX OS system and associated data, assisted with and following up on IBM tickets and calls.
▪ Created VIO LPARs with their resources processor, memory and their virtual disks, I/O adapter management, mirroring disks and performed VIO Backup/Restore.
▪ Carried out online resource modifications using dedicated coded scripts like online increasing or decreasing LPAR memory.
▪ Executed administration for several production servers System p 550, p510, p520, p570 and IBM Blade Center H js12.
▪ Managed the DR sites and worked on IBM TSM (Tivoli Storage Manager) backup application.
