Responsibilities:
• Forecasts goals and objectives for the department and strives to meet them.
• Prepares and administers an annual operating budget for the parts department.
• Ensures that parts inventory turns times per year
• Monitors and adjusts inventory to minimize obsolescence thru real Stock Classification.
• Analyzes sales, expenses and inventory monthly to maintain profit goals.
• Develops and utilizes a lost sales tracking report.
• Establishes pricing parameters in each customer category that generate enough gross profit to produce a satisfactory profit while maintaining customer loyalty.
• Develops sales promotions.
• Works with the service managers and body shop managers to ensure a timely turnaround of parts needed for internal jobs.
• Provides technical assistance to parts department employees.
• Oversee receiving, warehousing, distribution and maintenance operations
• Develops and administers wholesale parts program to produce profit
• Handles customer complaints according to the dealership's guidelines.
• Ensures that all dealership purchases are properly accounted for before payment
• Understands, keeps abreast of, and complies with federal, state and local regulations that may affect parts sales
• Manage Parts Sales Revenue for channels of sales (P2S - B2C - B2B)

Responsibilities:
• Develops parts strategy for the financial year to set measures and targets. This involves preparing annual parts stock targets for each location
• Contributes to the inventory process during the perpetual / annual stock check
• Administer regular visits to all Branches, Hub-Towns and Suppliers in the region to determine requirements and improve services to customers
• Prepares monthly statistical reports and reviews them jointly with the Head of General Manager to provide updates on service performance in terms of gross profit, sales revenue and net profit for the specific business and in comparison, with the remaining aspects of the business
• Ensures that excellent internal working relations with colleagues, peers across company, providing assistance and support when required.
• Ensures motivating the team by providing the development opportunities and the facilities.
• Work towards business improvement while continuously looking for ways to improve business best practice performance of the department and communicating ideas for review.
• Prepare strategies and implement market plans to achieve sales & marketing goals
• Formulate Pricing Plans applicable to the market which are beneficial to the company

• Ordering according demand average and order efficiency level.
•Participating in all General Motors order programs and channels (WSSP, Sea Ship direct, Stock, VOR and emergency orders).
• Implement GM STD (General Motors standards) for each channel and for all operations.
• maintain inventory level by minimize lost sales and obsolescence.
•Track the lost sales by items & values with the reasons.
• monitor & maintain the Parts KPI’s (Achievement, GP, Growth, Stock Efficiency, Stock Turn over).
