Responsibilities:
• Responsible for the safety of the manufacturing team.
• Leads a population of around 250 employees, including 4 direct managers and 2 direct reporting engineers.
• Aligns the plant operations to the company’s vision, purpose and priorities.
• Leads the transformation of the 7 Production Lines to operate-maintain model.
• Participates in the execution of the autonomous and preventive maintenance programs.
• Implements the transformation of the plant from 2 shifts to 3 shifts in a cost effective way.
• Responsible for achieving the net efficiency, true efficiency, productivity and Controllable Manufacturing
Overheads cost.
• Sponsor the 5S pillar of TPM
• Ensures the compliance to Food Safety standards (AIBI, HACCP and ISO) in the production facility.

• Rationalizing the number of reports to 60% and reinvesting the available time and job description of reporting
function into continuous improvement custodians.
Managed a Project for process improvement tha led to 3% additional volume of the plant with minor investment
(1.5 Million Euro) and innovation that is currently considered a standard for Lafarge Cement.
• Lead First full kiln (furnace) audit (thermal and material balance) conducted by local team.
• Lead the commissioning for a new value-priced cement.
Cement, Alexandria Egypt
Achievements:
• Innovated a process change in cement manufacturing that was recognized by Lafarge Cement as outstanding and
resulted in promotion to Senior Process Engineer as a step to become the Process Engineering Head.
• Lead the improvement of the cement mills reliability from 78% to 95% in 5 months.
