- Management of upstream contracts (Main Contract) pursuant to FIDIC 2010 Pink Book and partnership agreements (Consortium).

- Negotiating and finalizing subcontracts and supply agreements with the management of downstream contracts.

- Drafting of contractual corresponded and review of all correspondences issued by the Project.

- Manage suitable tracking and monitoring systems for active claims management & change control management.

- Management of variations, contractual deviations and negotiating these changes with clients.

- Preparation of notices and claims for extension of time and additional cost, with record keeping to support and defend claims.

- Advise the chief operating officer, managing director, and site team on contractual claim entitlements and recommend the best courses of action.

- Develop risk management strategies to avoid unnecessary claims and minimize risks.

- Close-out of the Project and final settlement of claims under upstream and downstream contracts.

- Developing Invitations for Bid documents to solicit proposals for construction projects pursuant to FIDIC 2017 Red Book.

- Reviewing and evaluating prequalification documents from contractors to bid on construction projects.

- Assist USAID & GOE with the solicitation/procurement process for all construction projects.

- Reviewing and evaluating proposals to ensure they meet the issued bid requirements.

- Developing Host Country Construction Contracts for the execution of the work.

- Assisting in the development of a Contractor's Manual, guidelines, and requirements for the contractor’s work.

- Supporting GOE and USAID to perform its required function for the administration and management of all contracts.

- Analyze claims and provide advice to GOE and USAID with writing amendments to settle contractor claims.

• Negotiate contract terms and conditions with consultants and contractors; evaluate reservations on contract conditions and present risk analysis and recommendations to clients/employers.

• Assist in fact-finding for dispute resolution procedures with reporting the finding to the Contracts Director

•Managing the Procurement processes for the Construction & Equipment, negotiation with contractors, nominating the successful contractor & contract establishment with alignment with the legal department (FIDIC & Stand.),

•Budget Creation, Cost control, comparison between the budget baseline & the actual cost for the site activities with forecast ETC,

•Detailed time schedule planning for the project activities with controlling the critical path during the execution.

•Quality Control at the Execution phase according to Metro Group & the Egyptian specifications,

•Preparing Status, Progress, Variance, EV & Trend Reports, presentations to the Expansion Director and the BOM.

•Site works supervision according to the proposed drawings, specifications and common standards of quality.

•Prepared project progress reports, and highlighted problem areas that could delay project completion, and suggested requirements that would lead to more efficiency and profitability.

•Attendance at meetings and presentation of clear professional solutions.

•Designed and calculated open and closed irrigation channels “Pressurized”, culverts cross section, storm deck drainage, scour depth & methods of protection, lock chambers and barrages, and water shed discharge.

•Prepared design phases, project schematics, methods of construction and Environmental studies.

•Preparing of preliminary construction drawings, specifications & cost estimation.

•Development, coordinate with the design teams & prepare environmental reports.
