• Responsible for processing new employees. Transfers. And resignations.
• Assists in the orientation of new personnel for the purpose of ensuring new employees are knowledgeable of current practices.
• Maintaining a variety of employment files and records.
• Responds to a variety of written and verbal inquiries from a variety of internal and external sources.
• Responsible for probationary reports for support staff every three months, and sending them to appropriate parties.
• Responsible for maintaining personnel files.
• Works as Department of public safety compliance contact for criminal history reports and fingerprinting issues.
• Assists in statement of employment or notice of appointment contracts.
• Responsible for processing absence report and sending to payroll services.
• Responsible for processing new hire paperwork and distributing to payroll, benefits, personnel, technology department, and superintendent’s office.
• Presenting new or updated HR policies to staff members.
• Creating monthly and annual reports on HR metrics, such as turnover rates.
• Overseeing staff performance reviews.
• Performance management and improvement systems.
• Employee relationship management.
• Compensation and benefits administration.
• Employee safety, welfare, and wellness education.
• In personnel files in compliance with applicable requirements.

• Prepare paperwork required to place employee on payroll and establishes personnel file.
• Assist in hiring process by coordinating job posting on Web site, reviewing resumes, performing telephone interviews and reference checks.
• Troubleshoots any employees’ inquiries/concerns and follow-up these issues with other HR departments.
• Provides training for new hired employees.
