1. Check for approval: Calculations, Shop drawings, Pre-Qualifications and Technical Submitals for Air Condition, Fire Fighting and Water Supply and Plumbing
2. Inspect mechanical work in site
1) Check Tender drawings.
2) Check all calculations of all mechanical networks (Heat Ventilation and Air Conditioning system "HVAC", Fire Fighting network "F.F" and Water Supply and Plumbing) Example:
Chillers capacity, Pumps capacity, Fans capacity, Pipe sizing, duct work sizing and…….etc.)
3) Prepare and maintain the Materials Submittal Flow Sheet.
4) Prepare and maintain the Materials Submittal Flow Sheet.
5) Obtain quotations from suppliers. Evaluate offers and prepare comparative statements.
6) Check and prepare Material Submittals.
7) Prepare and maintain the Shop Drawings.
8) Check, review and approve Shop Drawings.
9) Review comments received from the Consultant on Material Submittals and Shop Drawings. Prepare and organize re-submittals as required
10) Take-off material quantities from the approved drawings and prepare Material Requisition/s.
11) Ensure that all materials are ordered in time so that progress on site is not interrupted or delayed.
12) Plan labor requirements based on the construction program and provide requirements.
13) Prepare regular Progress Reports.
14) Attend scheduled meetings.
15) Plan, prepare and document Testing and Commissioning Plans and supervise all related commissioning activities.
16) Rectify and complete Snags prior to Final Handover.
17) Responsible for mentoring, guiding and evaluating Site Engineers, Foremen and Supervisory staff.
18) Responsible for, in co-ordination with the Site Engineers, Supervisors and Foreman, work allocation and execution on a daily basis.
19) Review and monitor monthly labor performance and utilization against the planned targets.
