- Build the business model and technical solution in a sustainable way.
- Develop strategies and negotiate power agreements with suppliers and/or utilities for existing and new facilities.
- Managing the development of the energy transition Projects (green hydrogen, renewable energy sourcing, CCS carbon capture and storage).
- Manage and negotiate the customer contracts prices, collections and operations issues.

Achievements :
- Cut 15% of indirect carbon emission (scope-2) by sourcing renewable electricity following the local regulation constraints.
- Save 7% of electricity prices by negotiating energy agreements terms and conditions and the supply classifications criteria.
- Growth the company Margin (GYM) with 3% from the energy following the energy efficiency projects and negotiating the energy weight into the gas price escalation
- Manage the Project Execution with excellence and achieve the project KPI's, as defined during the Handover (Technical Performances, Capex, schedule, Risks, ...).
- Contract, manage and challenge external/internal suppliers and contractors.
- Leading the execution of different Projects with total capex > 200M$. (ASU, Storage and Backup system, Hydrogen, CO2).
- Leading the execution of the upgrade Projects (Pipeline replacement, Backup upgrade, cooling tower replacement, Revamping…) with total capex >5M$.
- Prepare and participate in all types of industrial gas risk and safety studies ( HAZOP, ARA, RFSR).
- Prepare the basic design of the electrical and mechanical equipment of the Air Separation Unit including the storage and backup system.
- Prepare the key engineering documents (electrical SLD, Site layout, P&ID, PFD, control logic, piping layout…).
- Evaluate the consultant and contractors proposals.
- Commissioning & Startup electrical equipment and substation including ( Motors, Transformers, switchgears, UPS..etc).
- Avoid production failure (1M$)due to the failure of MAC soft starter (7 megawatt) by modifying the upstream network design and protection system characteristics.
- Avoid production failure (3M$)due to the failure of MAC liquid starter (10 megawatt) by changing the motor starting methodology.
Automation
• Study and review technical specifications for supervisory control systems and prepare the technical and commercial offer.
• Supervise and technically support system integrators during the offer and order stages of a project. Selecting the most suitable architecture and protocol for the control and supervisory system according to the projects’ demands and restrictions.
• Fully aware of Schneider Automation systems and products.
• Programm of the PLC systems for the medium size projects, with different PLCs types
Projects
• Responsible for the complete technical coordination between the different suppliers in the Package projects to ensure the optimal design, hand over to the customer starting from the design stage to the final testing, commissioning and startup on site
• Support the project manager when he Negotiate and advise clients of alternative solutions during the phase of developing their requirements.
• Being literate with the complete range of Schneider products for the integration of these products into complete package projects.
• Review technical offers and quotations submitted by Schneider's external suppliers for electrical equipment ordered (e.g. power transformers, UPS, battery chargers and batteries….etc.), and then check for compliance with the client's specifications
• Prepare the technical and commercial offers for all external supplies (power transformers, UPS, battery chargers and batteries, Bus-duct)
• Fully aware for PLC & Automation systems, cables selection, and cables trays routing, bus duct selection and routing, distribution transformers definition and selection………., Any other technicalities requested for package projects.
• Handle all the project documentations, and give technical support to services engineers during the project implementation.
• Keep up to date with development with respect to relevant process owners .
• Provide a high level technical support on all schneider product and solutions.
