1.Monitor all aspects of Quality Control relative to protective coating, during the construction to ensure adherence to the Company technical requirements and applicable codes (including, but not limited to ambient conditions, surface preparation, blasting and coating materials, coating application, coating
Inspection, touch-up / repairs and assembly of quality records).
2. Provide weekly input to the QMS reporting system, with regards to trends and unresolved exceptions and problems.
3. Provide expertise to site team to avoid/resolve quality problems.
4. Provide early detection of potential quality problems and ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed
5. Perform all in-process and hold point Coatings Inspection on Equipment and/or Material during construction.
6. Verify that all testing procedures for coating activities have been approved. Confirm testing parameters are duly recorded and signed off and that testing equipment is calibrated.
7. Ensure non-conformances are identified, tracked and closed out prior to acceptance of the Contractor’s Work.
8. Review and verify work prior to completion.
9. Witness acceptance tests final quality checks prior to acceptance as appropriate.
10. Verify all coating, is in accordance to the design and verify against approved drawings.
11. Assist in Verification, Monitoring and Close-out of Punch Lists.
12. Review EPCI Contractors completion files progressively for accuracy, legibility and adequacy.
13. To check and monitor all painting / coating related works and ensure all final products meet in accordance with company procedure, client requirement and international codes.
14. Responsible for incoming coating / painting material inspection and has to ensure whether these materials suits to meets the requirements of project specifications.
15. Prepare all necessary QA / QC painting / coating documents and handed over to clients review.
16. To undertake test qualifications for spray painters, brush painter’s & abrasive blasters.
17. Co-ordinate with the paint manufacturer technical representative on daily basis.

QA/QC Coating Inspector for all coating activties(Painting&Insulation) of 2 ammonia Tanks at Al-Sukhna
My resbonsabilities were:
1- To be aware thorughly with project coating(Painting&Insulation) specifications.
2- Checking all materials used on the project and insure its complied with specifications requirments.
3-Checking all guages certificates using to performing the required tests in project specifications.
4-Performing all destructive &non-destructive quality tests as per specifications&codes.
5-Doing all quality inspection coating reports for all daily activties performes in site.
6-Attending all meeting with material supplier and disscuss if there any porplems or related technical isssues.
Managing &follow up all painting activties performed for about 18 crude oi &fire fighting tanks at dukhan fields in Qatar.
