As Nursery Manager:
• Leading and managing the overall day-to-day academic and operational functions of the Nursery in line with Quality, Environmental, Health and Safety and Fire regulations from various regulatory bodies (MOE, DM, CD, MOHRE, ISO)
• Strategy mapping using various tools - Balanced Score Card, SWOT Analysis, Competition updates, PESTLE, PORTER, PRIMO-F, etc. to maximize the number of registrations
• Overseeing day-to-day financial transactions, managing a budget and making sure the Nursery is profitable
• Working closely with stakeholders in order to provide a high standard of customer service and education
• Recruitment, retention, training & development of staff with an ability to lead an effective team
• Expertise in Curriculum with a vast understanding of British Curriculum (EYFS Framework) and implementation, planning, play-based learning and teaching methodologies
• Boosting admissions, retaining students and marketing the services through effective tours, open days, coffee mornings
• Improvement and management of facilities & resources
• Effective creation, implementation and revision of Quality, Environment and Health & Safety related Policies and Procedures
• Using Social Media for branding and marketing
• Camp Planning - supporting working parents, resources, budgets and implementation of planning
• Daily Operational Organization with staffing rotas, academic calendars, event, resourcing
• Communication with all stakeholders (Parents, Management, Staff, Government bodies, Suppliers) through meetings, emails, flyers, etc.
• Carrying and implementing the organization’s Vision, Mission and Values
• Creating a caring and stimulating environment that promotes learning not only for children but for staff and parents too
As Head of Curriculum:
• Application of expertise in Early Year Education (Curriculum, R&D, Operations, Training, Inspections & Management)
• Monitoring Classroom Planning and other classroom responsibilities across 17 Branches (80+ teachers) through an online cloud initiative set up by myself. This has been running successfully for over two years and has facilitated compliance to EYFS Framework across all classrooms
• Branch Inspections covering different areas of Operations:
• Reception \{Admissions, Registrations, SMS, etc.\}, Classroom \{Planning, Evaluations, Observations, Assessments, Communication with Parents, etc.\}, Areas of Play, Risk Assessment (Health & Safety), Maintenance of Premises & Equipment, Issues & Complaints, Accidents & Incidents, Nurse’s records, Compliance to Policies and Procedures.
• Training Teaching Staff on: Curriculum Responsibilities, Communication with Parents, Record Keeping (Observations & Assessments), Innovation in Classrooms, etc.
• Camp Management: Innovative Themes, Planning activities & resources to execution across 17 branches
As Quality Assurance Manager:
• Development of Quality Management Systems with detailed policies and procedures
• Ensuring compliance to Customer and Regulatory Quality Standards
• Leading internal audits of Quality System (ISO 9001, 14001 & 18001 OHSAS - 16 Branches, once every 3 months)
• Quality Planning, Gap Analysis, Operations Management, Training, Problem Solving & Root Cause Analysis
• Control of Documents
• Transition from ISO 9001:2008 to 9001:2015 & 14001:2004 to 14001:2015
• Strategy Planning using tools such as Balanced Score Card, SWOT Analysis, PESTLE, PORTER & PRIMO-F
• Award Applications & Inspections (DQA, DHDA, SKEA, etc.)
• Support with Marketing Content, PR and Brand Image
• Designed curriculum for preschool for ages 10 months to 8 years.
