Role related responsibilities - Operational
Primary Responsible person to run the treasury work station ( I took off the system name as it divulges info )
Responsible to ensure all wires for the day are completed on a timely manner.
Escalation point with SBUs if there are issues with the wire transfers
Managing the cash position of the treasury ( mainly the disbursement accounts )
Cash projections and forecasting to ensure sufficient fund availability
Overdraft monitoring and analysis and apportionment of cost to SBUs
Monitoring the bank confirmation on daily expected incoming cash transfers
Dealing with the global Banks with regard to wire& ACH transactions such as
Amana is the first licensed and the largest Islamic commercial bank to operate fully under the Islamic principles. At Amana i was working for the Treasury department as a junior executive. My main role was to provide exchange rates to customers and prepare management reports to the head of treasury.
CIMA was completed in the year of 2015. CIMA has helped me to learn lot more about the changing nature of the business environment and how to manage that.
Degree was completed in the year of 2015 with a grading of 2nd class.
