Moller Maersk (Damco) - Cairo, Egypt • Handle large accounts such as COOP (reefer) in Europe, Walmart, Macy's and Staples with shipments more than 35 containers per week. • Continuously update incoming information unto the SAP and Maersk database (MODS) • Communicate on a daily basis with various VOCC's such as Maersk Line, CMA, HAPAG, Hamburg Sud and Seago to arrange booking, ensure space on vessel, and make sure certain containers are accurately loaded. • Prepare Bill of Lading, FCR, SWBL, and ISF. • Maintain close connections with the consignee to ensure that goods have arrived to final destination. • Properly handle irregularities that may occur during daily operation and report it to direct manager. • Coordinate with our trucking department to schedule the appropriate route for our clients. • Assist Sales manager on developing a forecast for lines to ensure commitment.
