Work Experience:
1- Site Engineer in rehabilitation for Amer 2 and Amer 4 platforms project with GPC (General Petroleum Company)
Project SOW: Boat landing assembly and fabrication, gratings, handrails and safety net exchange, changing the fire fighting system on plat forms, blasting and painting for the whole plat form, replace coating in the splash zone, rubber finder assembly and barge bumper.
2- Site manager in Internal Pipe line inspection (UT) for 6” & 8” pipelines by using the tethered tool (A new type of smart pig) never used before in Egypt, with GUPCO at Ras El Ush plant from onshore plant to Hillal platform from offshore side.
3- Site manager in replacement of the 12” crude oil charging hoses with GPC.
4- Offshore Site manager in Blasting and painting for RAHPETCO (Rashid petroleum Company) plant onshore and offshore for their 3 platforms P1, P2, Semian, and replacement for the safety net and the coating in the splash zone.
5- Project Manager for a project with Abu Qir Petroleum Company, the scope of work is to perform Cathodic protection survey for Abu Qir Sea lines and perform GVI, CVI, MPI by using the ROV and the Survey Equipment.
6- Project Manager for drilling of 5 water wells in Sinai/ El Khafga-Nekhel for military water department
7- From 11/2013 till 6/2017 I worked as offshore projects coordinator, quality coordinator, planner and cost controller for the offshore department and have a very good knowledge in performing Feasibility Study.
8- From 6/2017 till present, in addition to offshore department projects coordinator I worked as Marine Manager
- Manage and supervise Offshore Marine services among all project phases (Tender, Planning, Execution & Close out).
- Marine vessels chartering.
- Communicate and negotiate with marine services companies.
- Co-ordinate with different teams to check the readiness of vessels in order to ensure that they comply with project requirements.
- Attend meetings in the planning phases of projects to understand specific requirements such as duration for which the vessel is required etc.
- Handling of all marine issues related to hired marine spreads during the charter period with regards to vessels operations, crew change etc.,
- Conducting condition suitability surveys for the hired marine vessels to ensure compliance with international marine regulations, flag state rules and client requirements.
- Co-ordination of Marine Vessels Operation.
- Monitor day-to-day operations of the offshore vessels.
- Ensure Audit and inspection of marine vessels with third party surveyor.
- Ensure that reports on vessel inspection and suggested corrective actions are correctly recorded.
- Attend with clients the inspection on the proposed Marine vessels and note their comments to implement and covered the CAR by owner prior to the on hire
- Doing marine, safety engineering audits on the proposed marine vessels for our offshore projects to ensure compliance with client’s requirement.
- Checking and reviewing the marine class & safety certificates of the proposed vessels.
- Review the Marine Class certificates of hired vessels to ensure compliance with IMO regulations (SOLAS; MARPOL etc., ) and flag state rules.
- Checking the marine management systems of marine Subcontractors to ensure implementing the necessary procedures/policies for safe operations and environmental protection.
- Attend client and Subcontractors meetings and assist with determination of project requirements.
- Assist the PM in the drafting and issuance of project proposals, RFP’s, tenders, budgets, cash flows and preliminary schedules
- Prepare project organization and communication charts
- Issue the control sheet for each project and the S curve
- Use project scheduling and control tools to monitor projects plans, work hours, budgets and expenditures
- Following up with other departments in issuing Contracts, Letters of Intent, Purchase Orders, etc.
- Assist the PM in the review of Contractor quotations to ensure that only fair and reasonable pricing is recommended for approval
- Issuing the invoices for each project to the clients and finalizing subcontractor invoices.
- Follow up the cost report for each project
- Controlling the departmental revenue recognition each month according to the approved budget, and following up the sales in excess
- Issuing and following up the VOWD “Value of work done” for each project and for the whole department monthly
